How Kendall Jenner Proved She’s Going to Be a Great Mom One Day
The Kardashian-Jenner family tree is constantly growing, and its most famous members have almost all joined the parenthood club themselves. Out of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, only Kendall Jenner has yet to have children of her own. Some recent comments from the second-youngest member of the group suggest that she might be getting a little baby fever from all of her sisters’ adorable kiddos.
There are plenty of kids in the Kardashian-Jenner inner circle
Jenner is the second-youngest of her siblings. Born in November of 1995, she is currently 24 years old.
Her famous big sisters all have children of their own. This includes eldest sister Kourtney Kardashian’s three children with her ex Scott Disick: Mason, Penelope, and Reign. It also includes Kim Kardashian’s four children with her husband Kanye West: North, Saint, Psalm, and Chicago. The next oldest sister, Khloe Kardashian, has one child named True with her ex Tristan Thompson.
While Kylie Jenner is two years younger than Kendall Jenner, she also has a child. Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott (with whom she has a complicated relationship) have a daughter named Stormi.
Kendall Jenner is looking forward to motherhood
With so many shining examples of motherhood around her, it’s no wonder that Kendall Jenner is so excited about someday becoming a mom herself. A few months ago on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Jenner talked with big sister Kim Kardashian about motherhood and all it entails.
“I can’t wait to have a kid,” she explained. “I’m going to make him do the coolest things, so when he’s older, he’s just a stud.”
While she may have expressed that she couldn’t wait, Jenner was also quick to point out that she wasn’t actually ready to become a mother right away.
“It’s going to be interesting to see what the world is like when I do have kids. But I definitely don’t plan on having them anytime soon,” she told her friend Cara Delevingne in an interview back in 2018.
Kendall Jenner’s attitude proves she’ll be a great mom
Having kids when you live your life under the constant scrutiny of the public is no easy task. Jenner’s reflective responses about how she plans to balance these concerns when she becomes a mom show just how thoughtful and smart she’ll be when she’s presented with the challenge.
When asked about how she would handle putting her kids in the spotlight, she responded: “I think I’ll definitely put an age limit on it and try to keep them away from it as much as possible.”
She went on to reflect on her own appreciation of getting the chance to just be a kid without the pressures of Hollywood and the press: “I always loved being able to play in my yard with my animals, and my dog, and my friends.”
At the end of last year, Jenner made headlines with a messy split for her boyfriend Ben Simmons. Jenner and the basketball player had been dating for over a year, and while there were some bumps along the way, the break-up caught some fans by surprise.
Meanwhile, Jenner has been continuing to build a very successful career as a highly sought after supermodel. She’s worked with high-profile brands like Estée Lauder and Adidas.
With so much going on in her personal and professional life at the moment, it’s unlikely that Jenner will be adding to the growing Kardashian-Jenner clan anytime soon. But it does bode well that the star is carefully considering how to approach motherhood when the time comes. She’ll also have plenty of support around her and can turn to any of her sisters to help learn the ropes of becoming a parent.
