What is the age gap between Cutler and Cavallari

The public was first introduced to Cavallari when she was a teen on the MTVs series Laguna Beach and later The Hills, leaving many to think she’s a California native. But she actually moved there just before Laguna Beach started filming.

Cavallari was born in Denver on Jan. 5, 1987 to Judith Eifrig and Dennis Cavallari. Her parents ended up divorcing and she lived with her mother in Illinois but when she started acting out as a teen her mother sent her to live with her father in Laguna Beach. And that decision gave her the opportunity to become a reality TV star.

Her husband was born in Sant Claus, Indiana, on April 29, 1983. After graduating from Vanderbilt University, Cutler played in the NFL for 12 seasons with the Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, and Miami Dolphins.

These days, fans love how entertaining the athlete is on reality television.

How long they’ve been married and who called off their wedding

The couple started dating in 2010 while Cutler was playing in Chicago and she was in California. They did the long-distance thing for a bit and then got engaged in April 2011. However, in July of that year, Cavallari made headlines when she said she wasn’t going through with the wedding.

Cavallari opened up about their split in her book, Balancing in Heels. “At that moment, something wasn’t right,” she wrote. “A few things needed to change, and I knew the only way Jay would see how serious I was, was if I ended the relationship.”

A few months later though they reconciled and ended up tying the knot in June 2013. Cavallari has always credited couples therapy with saving their relationship. However, she did admit on her show that like most couples they still have plenty of highs and lows in their marriage.

“Jay has been great, yes. From the outside, like, things are so perfect and things are so great. But actually, like, they’re not,” the Uncommon James mogul confessed. “And that sucks. It sucks. That’s the thing, though, with marriage — it’s ups and downs.”

She added, “There’s no such thing as a perfect relationship. Jay and I have problems — I’ve always been very vocal about that … We have to work at our relationship.”

Today, Cavallari and Cutler share three children. Their oldest son, Camden Jack was born in 2012, followed by Jaxon Wyatt in 2014. And their daughter, Saylor James, was born in November 2015.

Very Cavallari airs on E! on Thursday nights at 9 p.m.
