Being married to the 45th President of the United States had made Melania Trump one of the most famous women in the world so it’s no surprise people want to learn as much as they can about Donald Trump’s wife.
There have been questions about everything from her age to if she graduated college to how many languages she speaks. Here are the answers to those questions as well as a few other things you may not have known about the first lady.
How old is Melania Trump?
Melania Trump was born Melanija Knavs on April 26, 1970, to parents Viktor and Amalija Knavs. She grew up in present-day Slovenia, which at the time of her birth was part of the communist nation Yugoslavia.
She is the only first lady who was raised in a communist country and just the second to be born outside the U.S. Before her, John Quincy Adams’s wife, Louisa Catherine Johnson, was born in London to a British mother and an American father who was a merchant and diplomat living in England.
Melania began modeling when she was a teenager and changed her name to Melania Knauss. She worked as a fashion model in Paris and Milan but decided to move to New York City when she was in her late twenties. She met her future husband at a party in 1998 and they began dating a short time. In 2004, Mr. Trump popped the question and the pair were married the following year at his Mar-a-Lago estate.
Did she go to college?
A lot of people have questioned whether the FLOTUS went to college since there has been some confusion about that.

There have been reports from multiple news outlets that Mrs. Trump was enrolled at the University of Ljubljana but once her modeling career really began to take off she left the school to sign with an agency.
Blaz Matija Vogelnik, a professor who taught Melania at the university, confirmed that she left and did not return to the school. “She hasn’t finished university, at least not in Ljubljana,” he said. “My personal opinion is that, because she was very beautiful girl … I believe that she realized that she could gain more with that, than to have long studies.”
