The Duggar family is one of the largest families in the United States. Michelle and Jim Bob gave birth to 19 children, and since 2008, their children have been getting married and having children of their own. But as the family expands, they all get more difficult to keep track of. There are two grandparents, 19 children, eight spouses, and 12 grandchildren for a grand total of 41 family members. We broke down the Duggar family and grouped them into families of their own to make things a bit easier for you.

Michelle and Jim Bob

Michelle and Jim are the head honchos of the family. They were married back in 1984 and have been together ever since. Fast forward nearly 35 years later, and the two have 19 children and a dozen grandchildren.

Josh Duggar’s family: Seven members

Josh is the oldest Duggar. He married Anna Keller back in 2008, and since then the couple has had five children: Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, and Mason. Josh and Anna hit a speed bump in 2015 when his sexual abuse scandal and marital affairs were exposed, but the two have since rebuilt their relationship.

John-David Duggar’s family: Two members

John-David is the second Duggar child. (He has a twin sister, Jana). John-David married Abbie Burnett back in November 2018. The couple don’t have any children right now, but that probably won’t last.

Jill Duggar’s family: Four members

Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard in 2014. Since then, the couple has welcomed two sons: Israel and Samuel. Jill and Derick’s marriage has been questioned by fans ever since Derick was allegedly fired from TLC for disrespectful comments about other TLC stars.

Jessa Duggar’s family: Four members

Jessa Duggar is married to Ben Seewald. The two wed in 2014, shortly after Jill and Derick. Since then, Jessa and Ben have also welcomed two sons, Spurgeon and Henry. Jessa and Ben are two of the main characters on TLC’s Counting On.

Jinger Duggar’s family: Three members

Jinger Duggar married her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, back in November 2016. She and Jeremy were introduced through Jessa and Ben and only courted for just over one month. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Felicity, in July 2018.

Joseph Duggar’s family: Three members

Joseph Duggar married his wife, Kendra, in September 2017. Since then, the couple have welcomed one son, Garrett, who was born in June 2018. Garrett is not even a year old yet, but the couple will likely have more children.

Josiah Duggar’s family: Two members

Josiah Duggar married Lauren Swanson back in June 2018. The couple has yet to announce any pregnancies, but they’ll likely have kids down the road.

Joy Anna Duggar’s family: Three members

Joy Anna Duggar married Austin Forsyth back in May 2017, just a few months before Joseph and Kendra tied the knot. Joy Anna was only 20 when the two got married. They welcomed their first son, Gideon, almost exactly nine months after their wedding — maybe even a little before.

There are six unmarried Duggar sons

Out of the 10 Duggar sons, six of them are still unmarried. Most of the Duggars meet their future spouses in their early 20s, which means Jedediah and Jeremiah (twins, age 20) probably won’t be unmarried for too much longer. Jason, James, Justin, and Jackson are still only teenagers, so it will be a few years before they have families of their own.

There are five unmarried Duggar daughters

Out of the nine Duggar daughters, five of them remain unmarried. Jana Duggar is 28 years old and hasn’t yet wed, which has caused some rumors about her relationships. The next-youngest unmarried Duggar is Johannah, who is only 13, so it will be a while. She is followed by Jennifer, Jordyn, and Josie, all of whom are too young to marry.
