Chris Hemsworth has not said much about Liam Hemsworth’s August 2019 split from Miley Cyrus. But in a recent interview, he appeared to throw some serious shade at the Malibu singer over the breakup.

When speaking about how fit Liam has become in recent months, Hemsworth attributed it to his brother’s move to Australia from Malibu, where he lived with Cyrus throughout their 10-year relationship.

While the singer has not directly responded to the Thor actor, a source has claimed that she’s fully aware of what Hemsworth said and definitely has some thoughts about his remarks.

Miley Cyrus’ reported reaction to Chris Hemsworth’s apparent comment about her is nonchalant

Speaking to HollywoodLife for an interview published on April 18, the insider claimed that Cyrus is truly unbothered by Hemsworth’s remarks. Now that she’s moved on, she reportedly has no interest in what Liam or his family has to say when it comes to her and her former relationship with the Hunger Games star.

“Miley is aware of the comments but she won’t respond,” the source explained. “She’s not with Liam anymore and is very happy in her current relationship so as far as she’s concerned it’s just none of her business what Liam or his family says. She already spoke her truth with her music, she’s moved on now. She’s happy and in love and she’s putting her energy into trying to help as much as she can in this current [coronavirus] crisis.”

Miley Cyrus’ life after Liam Hemsworth

After splitting from Hemsworth, Cyrus had a brief fling with reality star Kaitlynn Carter that lasted from August to September 2019.

Weeks later, she struck up a romance with Australian singer Cody Simpson and went public with him in October. The pair has now been together for six months, and things appear to be going better than ever.

Aside from her romantic life, Cyrus also kickstarted her own talk show on Instagram Live called Bright Minded: Live With Miley, which was created to keep fans entertained amid the coronavirus quarantine. With so much going on, she reportedly has no interest in harboring the past.

“Miley‘s focused on the here and now, she isn’t looking backwards,” another insider added. “And she doesn’t want to be petty. She wants to move on and hopes that Liam and all the Hemsworths will move on as well. Miley‘s focus is her family, her dogs, her relationship with Cody and her Instagram show that all this week has been about talking to people who are making a difference in the world.”

“Miley wants to make a difference and not get wrapped up in a celebrity feud especially with an ex. It provides no progress to anything at any time. Miley is cool moving forward and that’s that,” the source added.

Cyrus has not commented on the report, at the time of this writing — perhaps because she’s just that unbothered.

Liam Hemsworth has moved on, too

Multiple sources said that Liam really took his split from Cyrus hard in the beginning. But as time passed, he reportedly got over it and started to rebuild his life without the “Wrecking Ball” singer.

Now, he is said to be in a relationship with model Gabriella Brooks, with whom he was first linked back in December 2019.

“His family really likes her and they have a normal relationship without drama,” a source told E! News in March.

Let’s cross our fingers and hope it stays that way.
