The mother gets 15% of her children’s business when she helps cut a new deal. So when the family had to sign a new contract with E! Kris Jenner got a big paycheck. However, she did let them get off easy by only taking 10% which turned out to be $15 million according to TMZ.

So what did the rest of the family make from the deal? The same report said the family made $150 million total, but after Kris Jenner’s cut, it comes out to $135 million that they split. This deal carries the family into 2019 so they will have to negotiate once again.

Kris Jenner talked to Ellen DeGeneres on her show about her duties as manager and executive producer of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. When asked if her sole duty was to divide the rest of the money amongst her family she answered, “It’s kind of a group decision. I’m lucky if I get paid.”

She continued with “Everybody gets paid pretty much equally ‘cause we all film a lot. We all work hard. We’ve all created this show and this brand for the last decade, so I think that was taken a little bit out of context.”

But was the family ever considering to pull the plug on the show? “We just weren’t ready to say ‘no.’ When our deal came up and they said, ‘Do you want to do it again?’ We kind of took a vote,” revealed the manager to DeGeneres. “We all agreed that we really would miss it if we weren’t doing it. I’m excited, and you never know what’s gonna happen on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

So Kris Jenner made $15 million for cutting the new deal for the family while $135 million was left to split amongst the family members. Jenner claims she isn’t the one who decides who gets what after that. This deal was 50% higher than the last one the family signed so chances are they will get even more money if they sign up again in 2019.
