Meghan McCain has back-to-back birthday and anniversary celebrations

McCain celebrated her 37th birthday on Oct. 23 and is looking forward to her four-year anniversary with Domenech this month. The View alum previously revealed that she was never one to be marriage-minded and enjoyed her single life.

“I waited. I was like ‘If I don’t get married, I’m cool,’ ” McCain said in a 2019 online segment of The View’sAsk Me Anything”. “Like, marriage seems kind of like prison… I don’t know if I want to do it.”

The “Bad Republican” author did a complete 180 when she met Domenech and praised him for being such a supportive husband.

“Honestly, Ben is my rock and he is amazing and he’s made me so much smarter, tougher, stronger,” McCain gushed. “He’s opened my heart. He’s the only man I ever met that didn’t want to change me.”

‘The View’ alum wishes she had children ‘sooner’

Now that McCain has over a year of parenthood in tow, she’s ready give Liberty some siblings. She recently shared her regret of not starting a family at a younger age.

“I want 30 more children,” McCain told Fox News Digital. “I wish I had started having children earlier. The biggest regret of my life is not having children sooner.”

Making the decision to leave The View and now focusing on other professional pursuits, the former Fox News personality is grateful for more flexible platforms. McCain’s book on Audible is a perfect example of how she’s embracing a variety of mediums on which to communicate with the public.

“I just don’t have the kind of time that I used to,” she remarked. “I’m in the car and grocery store, I’m going for a walk with my daughter and I can put my earbuds in. … I just wanted these stories to be as easily accessible as possible to people.”

Meghan McCain initially wasn’t sure about having kids

McCain has frequently expressed her joy on becoming a mom, yet admitted she wasn’t always on board with having kids.

“I can’t believe how much I like motherhood, honestly,” she told People in February 2021. “I was really back and forth about whether or not I was even going to do it, and I can’t believe how obsessed with it I am.”
