Sure, you could return to some old Christmas favorites, but there are plenty of new Hallmark films available to keep things merry and bright! Whether you’re looking for something inspired by a true story or just some cozy comfort, Hallmark has you covered.

Here’s how you can watch every Hallmark Christmas movie releasing in 2021.

What 2021 Hallmark holiday movies are grabbing attention?

With 41 films to choose from, it can be a lot to sort through, but there are some particularly impressive selections that are getting fans excited. The top five (in terms of total views) as of December 10 were these:

  • The Christmas Contest- Two exes team up for a charity competition, but will they have to choose between winning and love?
  • My Christmas Family Tree- The results of a DNA test reveal a family Vanessa never knew existed, so now she’s heading “home” for the holidays!
  • An Unexpected Christmas- A traveling timing fluke has Jamie and his ex Emily arriving at the train station of his hometown at the same time. Now his family thinks they’re still together!
  • Next Stop, Christmas- Want your heartwarming Christmas family drama with a touch of time travel? This film is the one!
  • The Nine Kittens of Christmas- Will a box of abandoned kittens be the catalyst to bring together two wayward exes who obviously belong together?

While these are the most popular so far, it’s worth noting that Hallmark is still dripping out its content, and the films leading up to the big day are likely going to be particularly impressive — like the finale of a fireworks display! December 17 brings the premiere of Sugar Plum Twist. December 18 will bring us Christmas House 2: Deck Those Halls. The final release is set for December 19 with ‘Tis the Season to be Merry

While you were still carving Halloween pumpkins and thinking about your Thanksgiving menu, Hallmark was busy decking the halls. With a whopping 41 new original holiday movies, they knew they couldn’t wait until December to start releasing the goods. Premiering Friday, October 22, Hallmark started a steady stream of new holiday content to keep us engrossed for the rest of the year.

The lineup includes Christmas and Hanukkah-centered films, and — while the genre tends heavily toward romance and light-hearted fare — there’s enough variety to meet a range of interests. The countdown has certainly garnered plenty of fans. As Yahoo! reports, the films have boosted Hallmark to the most-watched entertainment cable network for the fourth quarter among women ages 25-54.

Lisa Hamilton Daly, executive vice president of programming for Hallmark, explained that they’ve tapped into a winning formula when it comes to the “Countdown to Christmas”: “The Hallmark brand is synonymous with warmth, positivity, and celebrating the meaningful moments in life, and we look forward to sharing the remainder of this year’s uniquely diverse and heartfelt storylines with our audiences.”
