After spending two decades as the signal caller for the New England Patriots, Tom Brady left the team to quarterback the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The athlete and his family have been renting a house in the Sunshine State while their new home is being built. And the Massachusetts property where Brady, Gisele Bündchen, and their children once lived just sold for a whopping $32 million.

Where Brady and Bündchen live now

Page Six reported the Brady and Bündchen put down $17 million for a place on Indian Creek Island in Miami where they plan on knocking down the house that’s there now to build an eco-friendly property. The exclusive island has just over 40 residents and is nicknamed “Billionaire Bunker.”

While the family is waiting for their dream home to be constructed they are renting Derek Jeter’s estate in the Tampa area.

The former baseball player’s residence, referred to as “St. Jetersburg,” boasts seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and more than 30,000 square feet of living space. The waterfront property also includes two boat lifts, a saltwater pool, and a heated spa.

Their former Massachusetts mansion just sold

The Boston Globe has reported that the couple’s former Brookline, Massachusetts mansion is no longer on the market. According to Norfolk County land records, the sale took place on Dec. 24, 2020. But we still got a look inside the beautiful home thanks to a video released by Sotheby’s Realty which showcased the property.

Brady and his wife had the estate built in 2015. It sits on five acres next to an exclusive country club and features more than 12,000 square feet. Relator.com noted that the main house has five bedrooms, a grand staircase, a dining room, a living room, a chef’s eat-in kitchen with a marble island, a family room, a rec room, a playroom, a wine room, a gym, and a spa.

There is also a small barn located in a side yard which had been used as Bündchen’s office. She once described the space as her “sanctuary.”

“This is my sanctuary where I spend most of my time,” the supermodel said during a 2019 Vogue video.

Police say they arrested a man named Zanini Cineus on Dec. 7, 2020, after he was found inside the basement. Cineus was booked on charges of breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony, attempted larceny, and trespassing.

The mansion was initially put up for sale in 2019 for $39.5 million. The price was later dropped to $34 million. Sources told the Globe that it was sold for 32.5 million.
