It seems like everyone is related to everyone in Hollywood. Melissa McCarthy and Jenny McCarthy are cousins. As are Snoop Dogg and Brandy. And Emma Roberts is Julia Roberts’ niece.

One connection that has been floating around for a while is that between Blake Jenner and the famous Kardashian/Jenner family. Rumors have been going around for a while that Blake is Caitlyn Jenner’s son. So, is it true? Is Blake Jenner related to Kylie and Kendall Jenner?

Who is Blake Jenner?

Blake Jenner always knew he wanted to be an actor. The 27-year-old was born on August 27, 1992, in Miami, Florida. At a young age, Jenner was writing scripts and acting them out in school. He was so passionate about acting that he took extra classes so that he could graduate early to pursue acting. 

In 2010, Jenner got his first credited role, a small part in the short, Fresh 2 Death. But just two years later, the actor got his big break. Jenner was selected to compete on the reality show, The Glee Project. Not only did he appear on the show, he won. Ultimately, this led to the actor landing a spot as a series regular on Glee. 

Jenner played Ryder Lynn on the show from 2012 until the show ended in 2015. After Glee, Jenner guest-starred on Supergirl, appeared in a few movies, and can currently be seen in the series What/If.

Is Blake Jenner related to Kendall and Kylie Jenner?

There are so many Kardashian/Jenner kids, it’s easy to assume that anyone with the last name Jenner might have a connection to the family. And Blake kind of even looks like Brody Jenner. Kendall and Kylie Jenner are the daughters of Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner. Blake’s parents are Mitzy and Richard Vernon Jenner. 

So there you have it — Blake Jenner is not related to Kylie Jenner or Kendall Jenner. He does have a big family himself though. Jenner has three older brothers. 

Jenner has been in the news lately for his connection to another famous face

Blake Jenner’s name has been popping up in the news lately, but not for good reason. In 2015, Jenner married his former Glee co-star, Supergirl star, Melissa Benoist. The actress filed for divorce in 2016 citing irreconcilable differences. Benoist recently made a shocking revelation that has fans talking about the former Glee stars.

The Supergirl star shared an Instagram video revealing that she has been the victim of intimate partner violence. In the video, the actress detailed the abuse saying that it began as emotional manipulation, but turned into physical abuse. She recalled being punched, slapped, dragged, and thrown against the wall. It was obvious that the 31-year-old was fighting back emotions as she told her story. 

Benoist said that she finally had the courage to leave the relationship after her partner threw an iPhone at her and broke her nose. The actress never named her partner, but many fans are speculating that it might be Jenner.

In the video, Benoist revealed that her attacker was younger than her. Jenner is four years younger than Benoist. But fans are also pointing to the phone incident. The actress says that after she broke her nose they made up a story that she tripped and hit her face on a planter.

That’s the same story that she told Jimmy Fallon in 2016, while still married to Jenner. Benoist has not confirmed that the person that she is talking about is Jenner and the actor has not responded to questions about Benoist’s comments.
