Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner are reportedly back together after breaking up in October of last year. After a whirlwind romance, the stress of building separate empires got to the couple and caused them to drift. During their time apart, they both worked hard on their crafts separately. When they were together previously, Jenner’s net worth far surpassed Scott’s. But is that still the case?

Career or relationship?

Jenner and Scott became young parents shortly after getting together. Balancing their relationship, being parents, and their careers proved to be too much for the pair.

“The couple has always had love and respect for one another but took a break last year because they both had so much going on,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “They couldn’t fully focus on what it took to make the relationship work. Kylie exploded in the makeup world and was busy making a billion-dollar business and Travis was on tour and working on music.”

But now they know how to better balance things between them.

“Although things haven’t slowed down much for the duo, they’re better able to handle it,” the source continued. “At the end of the day, the couple is happy to have their family back together.”

What is Kylie Jenner’s net worth?

Jenner is the richest one out of all of her famous siblings. She is currently worth $1 billion, which makes her the youngest self-made billionaire in history (though there has been some debate over whether she is actually self-made.)

She began selling lip kits for $29 in 2015, which blossomed into a multimillion-dollar business. She sold $360 million worth of cosmetics in 2018 alone, according to Forbes. In November of 2018, she entered into a distribution deal with Ulta which allowed her to sell $55 million of cosmetics in six weeks.

How much is Travis Scott worth?

At the beginning of their relationship, Scott was worth $8 million, which may seem like a lot but was less than 1% of Jenner’s. Now, Scott’s rap career has really taken off.

Between September 2017 and September 2018 alone, Scott made $20 million from touring, record sales, and his deal with Nike. He became one of the 15 highest paid rappers that year. The next year, he tripled his earnings, making $60 million between June 2018 and June 2019. With his Astroworld tour alone, he grossed $65 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

His net worth is now $40 million, which is still a tiny fraction of Jenner’s but Scott is not jealous at all. When they weren’t together, he still supported all of Jenner’s business ventures, like when she sold 51% of her company to Coty for $600 million.

“Travis and Kylie are still very close, they still talk all the time, often several times a day. He knew all about this deal before she signed it, he’s very, very proud of her,” a source told HollywoodLife after Jenner signed the deal with Coty. “He loves that she’s such a boss, especially because Stormi has such a great example of what hard work looks like. Regardless of their status as a couple Travis will always love and support Kylie, he’ll forever have her back and want the best for her.”

It’s good to see that there is no competition between the two when it comes to money.
