The 21-year-old pop-country singer from Nashville, Tennessee got mixed up in a love triangle between Trevor Holmes and Ryan Neal. Although Jamie is young in age, the Listen to Your Heart cast member knows what she wants when it comes to her career. According to the singer-songwriter’s Bachelor bio, Jamie knows her way around a six-string guitar” and has always wanted to be in the music industry. She even attends Berklee College of Music, a prestigious private school with alums like John Mayer, Charlie Puth, and Quincy Jones.
“As a budding artist, it’s important for her to be taken seriously and to prove to her family that she can make it big,” the singer’s bio reads. “Jamie is ready for the real deal when it comes to music and love.”
Nevertheless, much of Jamie’s story on The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart has focused on love. During the 21-year-old’s intro video from the premiere, Jamie admitted she has been cheated on in every relationship she has been in. And while she was excited to find her other half, Jamie found out Trevor emotionally cheated on his ex-girlfriend in the second episode.

Trevor’s past on The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart popped up after Natascha Bessez arrived in week 2. The 33-year-old music artist knew Trevor’s ex-girlfriend and confronted him about cheating. As mentioned, Trevor admitted to emotionally cheating on his ex and came clean to Jamie on the show. But in the end, Jamie chose Trevor and wanted to continue pursuing the relationship.
“In my mind, when Trevor told me what happened and he told me his side of the story, I made that decision on that day,” Jamie told People in April 2020. “I’m like, ‘OK, I’m trusting this as your answer. And I’m moving forward.’”
Jamie also delved into what was going on in her mind when she was confronted with Trevor’s past.
“For me, he had told me he spent the past year and a half since that altercation happened to work on himself to be a better person,” she said. “I believe that people can change if they want to. I’m believing in us and I’m seeing this person for what they’re showing me.”
She continued: “And I’m crazy about this guy. I was upset, but I’m thinking in my head, like, I’m willing to believe he’s changed and learned from his mistakes. And I’m gonna see how our relationship might unfold with us and see how he treats me.”

Then within the past few weeks, the singer-songwriter released a few original tracks on the social media platform, including “C’est La Vie” and “I’ll Say It.”
