Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo are adored by fans. They do things a bit differently than other Duggars, and the two appear to have an extremely solid, confident marriage. But believe it or not, there was one thing that completely terrified Vuolo when it came to walking down the aisle with his wife.

Vuolo and Duggar knew each other for a few months before they began courting

Vuolo and Duggar met through Duggar’s sister and brother-in-law, Jessa and Ben Seewald. The Seewalds had gone to Texas for a bit and were looking for something to do when they learned that Vuolo was hosting a church fellowship at his home. Although the Seewalds didn’t know Vuolo, they heard about it through a friend and decided to attend. Vuolo kept in touch with them, and he came to visit them in Arkansas, which is how he first met Duggar. The two got to know one another pretty well and eventually attended a mission trip together before they began courting.

The couple only dated for one month before Vuolo proposed

The Duggars aren’t known for long courtships. Typically, when the Duggar children meet someone they connect with, they’re engaged within six months of starting a courtship. But for Jeremy Vuolo and Jinger Duggar, things moved much more quickly. The couple finally started a courtship a while after meeting, and within a month, Vuolo proposed. He knew Duggar was the one and was everything he was looking for in a wife, but there was a part of him that was hesitant to marry her.

Vuolo admitted that Duggar’s reality television fame ‘petrified’ him

Vuolo and Duggar recently appeared on Audrey and Jeremy Roloff’s podcast. (The Roloffs star on the TLC show Little People, Big World.) Vuolo and Duggar discussed a lot of points about their marriage, including how Duggar has helped Vuolo curb his intimacy “temptation,” and how the two have built trust in their relationship. But he also explained how he was actually completely petrified to marry into the Duggar family. The reality television world can be a scary place, and Vuolo wasn’t sure what it would entail or the proper way to handle it. But he knew he loved Duggar, and he was determined to make things worth with her.

The two have been married for nearly three years and have one daughter together

The Vuolos recently announced they’re moving to California.

Vuolo eventually overcame his reality television fears, and he and Duggar tied the knot in 2016. About two years later, they welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Felicity. Since then, the couple has shared plenty of photos of their adorable family on Instagram, and fans can’t get enough of their little girl. The couple also recently announced they’d be making a move to California for Vuolo to take graduate classes; they hinted that there probably wouldn’t be any more babies joining their family in 2019. They’ve kept fans entertained with their adventures, and they’re arguably the most-liked couple from the Duggar family.
