Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is returning without Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and amid a global pandemic. Season 4 will be different, but diehard fans know Jerzday will be filled with drama, drinking, and fist-pumping when the gang returns on Nov. 19, 2020.

‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’: Almost the whole gang will be back

Deena Cortese, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino will all be back for the next season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Whether they like it or not, Angelina Pivarnick is also joining the vacation because it’s not Jerzday without girl drama. Snooki is the only family member not returning.

Polizzi told her fans in December 2019 that she could not return to the MTV series. She cited her children as the main reason for leaving the show.

“I needed to move on,” she told People. “It’s just not for me anymore. Drama has never been my thing. Especially now, I don’t want to leave my kids and not see them for days on end to do that. I want to leave, have a good time with my friends and roomies, and then come home and be a mom. So this season was very stressful, and I just wasn’t having fun. I want to do something that’s more uplifting in my life.”

The MTV series took over a resort to film in a ‘bubble’

To combat the potential of contracting the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Jersey Shore roommates took over a resort. Since the drama at Pivarnick’s wedding left the girls torn apart, the men will attempt to restore the family.

MTV reported that the wedding left the “family fractured, leaving the boys with only one option — make the family whole again.”

The men will also bring in “the extended family to distract them from drama and hope for the best.” Pauly D and Vinny both have other professions in Las Vegas, so they likely took over a Nevada resort. Deena also shared several photos in the state over the filming period.

The producers are likely following the guidelines that other shows are to film, such as The Bachelorette. The reality dating show brought all of their contestants to a resort to quarantine for two weeks. Then they were tested for COVID before they could participate in the show.

Who will the ‘extended family’ be that joins ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ Season 4?

While MTV did not yet reveal the “extended family” who will be joining the show, the roommates’ social media accounts gave most of the information away already. Deena Cortese shared on Instagram that she loved having her family along. That means that her husband, Chris Buckner, and son, Christopher, will be part of the family.

Mike Sorrentino’s wife, Lauren Sorrentino, also was present in a photo of filming that he shared on Instagram. So we know she will be part of the family.

Ronnie Ortiz shared a video with his daughter in Las Vegas, Nevada, so it looks like she will be involved as well.

JWoww did not indicate anything about her two children traveling with her, so it’s unclear whether they will be involved. Fans can probably expect to see Pauly D’s girlfriend, Nikki Hall, from Double Shot at Love. That show recently ended with the couple together, and there are rumors of a proposal on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
