The old drama between the castmates of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation will be front and center during the second half of season 5. One of these deep-rooted relationships exists between Vinny Guadagnino and Angelina Pivarnick. Their friendship has roots in their teen years. However, they maintain a consistently cringy relationship. Jenni Farley, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi can’t deny the love connection between their friends and wonder if their relationship will take a romantic turn.

Vinny Guadagnino claims he wouldn’t date Angelina Pivarnick

Guadagnino once told Us Weekly that he would never date Pivarnick, despite their long history.

While he may not be interested in his co-star romantically, Guadagnino believes Pivarnick may feel differently about him.

“She’d probably smash,” the reality star deadpanned.

“You know, I’m a pretty good catch. So if I wanted to, I was like, ‘Yo Angelina, like, I really liked you.’ She wouldn’t say no, but I don’t think she’s actively trying to get with me either,” he concluded.

He also addressed rumors of the couple’s romantic interest in one another,

“I don’t know if people think that I’m, like, capping or lying about this. Like, when I tell you there’s not an ounce of energy or anything in my body that has any romantic attraction toward Angelina, I promise you. I do not,” Guadagnino explained.

Pivarnick is currently single after splitting from her husband, Chris Larangeira. He filed for divorce in January 2022, citing “irreconcilable differences” with “no reasonable prospect of reconciliation,” reported Us Weekly.

However, ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ castmates Paul ‘Pauly D’ DelVecchio and Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley feel differently

Castmates DelVecchio and Farley believe their pals have deep feelings for one another. Given the right time and space, they feel Guadagnino and Pivarnick might take a shot at love.

“I’m actually here for it,” Farley said in an interview for Us Weekly.

“As much as like, it skeeves me out … I’m kind of like, ‘I’m here for it.’ I think that they should be a couple and take the crown from Pete [Davidson] and Kim [Kardashian] and truly be the king and queen.”

DelVecchio feels the same as his co-star regarding a potential romance between his castmates.

“I mean, I say no way in the entire world, but then they look like they’re on a Tinder date,” he explained.

“If I see them at a restaurant, they’re ordering for each other. I don’t know what’s going on because they claim they hate each other but yet look at them. And then I listen to the conversation. They’re expressing how much they hate each other to each other, but weirdly, it’s flirting for them. Staten Island acts funny.”

Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi feels Angelina and Vinny are ‘meant to be’

Polizzi, who had an on-again-off-again relationship with Guadagnino during Jersey Shore’s original run, believes a connection between her pals is “meant to be.”

“I feel like Angelina and Vinny are meant to be, and if she were single, they would get together and have babies,” Polizzi said to Us Weekly. “I feel like [they are] soulmates. So I don’t know why they’re fighting it.”

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on MTV.
