By now, Jersey Shore fans have “the speech” better memorized than “the note” from season 2. After the poorly received speech delivered by Polizzi, Deena Cortese, and Jenni “JWoww” Farley, there was a major divide amongst the roommates. After the drama came to a head on social media, many fans thought the MTV series was doomed. Eventually, Farley and Cortese were still willing to continue working with Pivarnick. Polizzi, on the other hand, was done for good.
“Snooki” announced her exit from Jersey Shore: Family Vacation on her podcast at the end of 2019. “I’m not in the mood to do [the] drama with Angelina anymore,” Polizzi told HelloGiggles. “I just want to be happy and positive and film fun shows.” Since then, Polizzi has been managing her boutique shops and pursuing other television projects, including her work with HGTV.
Angelina Pivarnick’s wedding drama is a thing of the past
Finally, after more than a year, the drama that began at Pivarnick’s November 2019 wedding seems to be behind the Jersey Shore roommates. Throughout the first half of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 4, Pivarnick made up with Cortese and “JWoww.” By the end of their time in Las Vegas, the group seemed untied once again — minus Polizzi. Now, it seems like Pivarnick is ready to turn a new leaf with the third and final former roommate.
‘Snooki’s return has been a hot topic for the ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ cast
Since Polizzi’s exit from the series, her roommates have speculated about her return. “She has super FOMO [Fear Of Missing Out],” Pauly DelVecchio told Us Weekly in January. “She’s in the loop on everything. So, to me, it feels like she didn’t quit. She’s there — I just hope that she comes back, and I think she will. I don’t know. We’ll see. I think she will.” Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino seconded DelVecchio, adding: “We talk to her all the time, and sometimes we feel like we’re getting through to her.” Now, it seems like they may have gotten their way.
Is Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi filming for ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ Season 4?
The second half of season 4 is being recorded presently. Much of the Jersey Shore cast has documented filming on their social media channels. But now, thanks to TMZ, fans think Polizzi could return in the latter half of season 4. Polizzi and Pivarnick were spotted sometime last week at Lucco Cucina + Bar in Florham Park, New Jersey. In the photos obtained by the outlet, a producer appears to be seated at the table next to them. Per the article, the restaurant was “lit for TV” as cameras captured the reality star’s conversation.
Does this mean Polizzi is back for good? Some fans believe she will only make a brief appearance in the rest of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 4 to make amends with Pivarnick. Others think Polizzi could be using the opportunity to promote her new hosting gig. Regardless, fans will have to tune in to MTV when the reality series returns to find out.
