What happened last time on ‘Jersey Shore’

Previously on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, everyone watched as Sorrentino went to prison to serve his tax evasion sentence. Cortese and her husband Chris, welcomed their son, CJ, into the world. Ortiz-Magro went to a “wellness retreat center” to work on himself. And Farley revealed that she was going through a divorce and that she had started seeing Zack “24” Carpinello. After the season concluded, Polizzi announced she was leaving the show.

The family took ‘Laurens’ out

After thinking Sorrentino might be released from prison early, it was revealed that he would have to serve the full time. With a few weeks remaining in his sentence, the Jersey Shore family decided to take Sorrentino’s wife, Lauren Pesce, to a local bowling alley in an effort to take her mind off of things. “This was a jail sentence for him, but also for her” DelVecchio said.

The bowling alley they went to happened to have a strip club next door. After a few rounds, the crew were kicked out of the bowling alley and decide to stop in the strip club. As Pesce, Farley, and Ortiz-Magro climbed into cabs to go home, Guadagnino exclaimed: “Oh my god, those are like, my coworkers!”

What was originally a day to distract Pesce from worrying about her incarcerated husband turned into a “Meatball Day” for Cortese and Polizzi. “A twerking stripper solves most problems in life,” Guadagnino said. At the end of the night, everyone returned to JWoww’s for an adult sleepover.

Poolside rap battle

Despite Sorrentino not getting out of prison, everyone decided to enjoy the time they had together. To settle their Staten Island rivalry, Guadagnino and Pivarnick chose to have a poolside rap battle. DJ Pauly D emceed as the “Keto Guido” took on the “Staten Island Queen.” The challenge ended in a tie because, as Ortiz-Magro said, “they both suck.”

Confrontation with the ice cream man

After the rap battle, everyone hung around JWoww’s home. Eventually, an ice cream truck came rolling up the street, and they all ran outside to buy their favorite treats. In all of their excitement, everyone forgot to pay the ice cream man. He wasn’t going to let the Jersey Shore crew off easy. Instead, he pulled into Farley’s driveway, blasting the well-known song and honking his horn, demanding to be paid.

In a huge misunderstanding, Farley and Pivarnick felt disrespected and ended up demanding that the ice cream man leave. After a screaming match, Farley finally paid the difference. Back inside, Vinny said, “This is why I don’t eat ice cream.”

Dinner date at Teak

Last time they went to the sushi restaurant Teak, DelVecchio got into an argument with a patron who was picking a fight. This time, Pivarnick and Guadagnino ended up being the only ones to hold a conversation.

No family outing is complete without a prank. After Pauly joked that Pivarnick and Guadagnino were on an actual first date, the rest of the family separated Pivarnick and Guadagnino’s table from theirs. Then, Farley ordered a bottle of champagne complete with sparklers for the two love birds.

Who wrote the note?

Ortiz-Magro, DelVecchio, and Guadagnino had an early flight back to Las Vegas in the morning, so they bid the rest of the family goodbye after their dinner at Teak. As a joke the next morning, the guys left Farley, Cortese, and Polizzi a note reminiscent of the one that was left for Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola during the Miami season of Jersey Shore.

“Only In Jersey” concluded with Sorrentino calling Pesce, teasing the next episode where it looks like Big Daddy Sitch is finally going to get out of prison and reunite with his Jersey Shore family.

This season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, fans can expect a bachelorette party in New Orleans, Farley’s divorce party, Pivarnick’s wedding (complete with some insane drama), and possibly a hookup between DelVecchio and Farley!
