Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and the French girl

In Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 1, Ortiz-Magro met a French girl in the nightclub. She ended up coming back to the house, where Ortiz-Magro famously shut himself in the bathroom with her.

“It’s not worth it,” Pauly DelVecchio told him at the time. “We were just talking, bro,” Ortiz-Magro replied. “You’re interrupting my conversation with her.”

The next day, Ortiz-Magro assumed Jen Harley, the mother of his child and then-girlfriend, heard about his night, so he called her to see what she knew. As the Jersey Shore roommates point out in the episode, Ortiz-Magro unnecessarily admitted guilt in doing so. At the time, it was unclear if Harley had seen any of the videos people were allegedly tagging her in of Ortiz-Magro dancing with the French girl.

Ortiz-Magro’s relationship with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino hasn’t always been the best. Things got really heated between the two during an episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation when the topic of rehab came up.

“I like to drink, I like to party,” Oritz-Magro said. “I don’t let it affect my life. You let it destroy your life,” he added, referencing “The Situation’s” former drug and alcohol abuse. “So I don’t understand why I need rehab.”

When Ortiz-Magro called Sorrentino out for his tax evasion arrest, things got even more heated. That’s when Sorrentino brought up Ortiz-Magro’s call two weeks before they left to film.

“Did you not call me and say you needed rehab?” Sorrentino asks his roommate. “I said I needed help,” Ortiz-Magro clarified. In his eyes, he had “full — maybe half — control” of his life at the time and didn’t see how rehab could help.

Ortiz-Magro’s toxic relationship with Harley unfolded throughout Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. But when Harley showed up at the roommates’ suite in Las Vegas, things took a turn.

At the time, Harley was allegedly keeping their daughter, Ariana Sky, away from Ortiz-Magro. When she arrived at the Las Vegas suite to confront Ortiz-Magro, she ended up spitting in his face.

“You keep holding my kid over me,” Ortiz-Magro shouted in the episode. Later, Ortiz-Magro threatened to leave the show to find Ariana but ultimately didn’t against the advice of producers and DelVecchio.
