‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ Season 5 Trailer: Fans Are Excited About Pauly DelVecchio and Nikki Hall, Wonder Where Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Is

The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 5 trailer is finally here. Now that Jersey Shore fans have had some time to analyze the footage in the teaser, there’s even more buzz about the new season.

Fans of the MTV series are most excited to see more from Baby Romeo Sorrentino, plus watch Pauly DelVecchio and Nikki Hall’s relationship blossom. But many fans just have one question — where is Ronnie Ortiz-Magro?

‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ cast is ‘making up for lost time’ in season 5 trailer 

The teaser trailer for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 5 is packed with exciting moments. From “Big Daddy Sitch” working out with Baby Romeo to Angelina Larangeira sitting down at a table of charcuterie with her female roommates, the family is together again in so many ways. 

At one point, Larageira also mentions going to therapy with her husband, Chris. “We gotta work on our relationship — therapy is the key,” she tells cameras.

Plus, the trailer for season 5 hints at the family getting even bigger, alluding to DelVecchio popping the big question to Hall. “I wanna ask you something,” he says in the trailer. “Will you…” and it cuts off. 

What’s more, season 5 boasts a Meatball Day where Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Deena Cortese, and honorary meatball Larangeira get drunk on a children’s play set.

‘Jersey Shore’ fans can’t wait to see more from Pauly DelVecchio, Nikki Hall, and The Sorrentinos 

Many Jersey Shore fans are counting down the days until the season 5 premiere. But some are frustrated with the way the teaser is edited. “They need to stop making it seem like Pauly is going to propose!” said one fan on Reddit in a thread about the trailer. “It’s such a tease.”

Most are on to the producers and the show’s style of editing. “It’ll be something stupid like ‘Will you…..pass me some bread?'” wrote another fan. Still, fans are excited to tune in to see DelVecchio and Hall’s relationship continue to blossom.

The trailer features plenty of Baby Romeo, another aspect of the new season that has fans excited. From Mike and Lauren Sorrentino’s podcast, we know that the baby tagged along on their vacation to Florida this season. Fans are eager for plenty of Romeo content in new episodes of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. 

“So excited to see Mike and Lauren as new parents because baby Romeo is SO cute!” commented another fan. “Not excited to see more of drunk Snooki or ‘Dren.'” 

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro won’t be in the first half of season 5

MTV breaks each season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation into two parts: A and B. Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 5A will air beginning Jan. 6, 2022.

When MTV dropped the trailer for the new season, some fans noticed a lack of Ortiz-Magro. Many people wonder what he’s up to. 

“Yes can’t wait,” a fan commented on the Jersey Shore Twitter post announcing the trailer. “Where is Ron?”

“Left the show to ‘focus on his mental health,'” another fan pointed out. “Need Ronnie,” tweeted another. 

In May 2021, he and MTV announced his exit from the reality show to work on his mental health. While Ortiz-Magro didn’t go to rehab, he talked about being was four months sober in August 2021 (via TMZ). He also mentioned being excited to get back to filming for the MTV series, so it’s possible Ortiz-Magro could pop up in future episodes of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, which the cast is filming now.
