Mike Sorrentino’s birthday was celebrated multiple times on ‘Jersey Shore’

The Jersey Shore cast celebrated Sorrentino’s birthday throughout the original series on multiple occasions. Since his and Pauly DelVecchio’s birthdays are so close (Sorrentino was born on July 4; DelVecchio’s birthday is July 5), their celebrations were often part of filming the first six seasons of Jersey Shore

‘The Situation’s proposal and ‘Ranchelor’ party

Sorrentino proposed to Lauren in a 2018 episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. The celebrations continued after she said “yes” with a backyard party featuring DJ Pauly D.

In another episode of the reality series, the roommates threw a Bachelor party for Sorrentino on a dude ranch. They even surprised him with a lap dance from Lauren.

Mike and Lauren Sorrentino’s wedding

Yet another celebration on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation was the Sorrentino’s wedding in November 2018. For weeks, Sorrentino and his Jersey Shore castmates practiced a dance to Rob Base’s “It Takes Two.”

At the wedding, DelVecchio had a surprise for the newlyweds. Base showed up to perform the song live for Sorrentino, DelVecchio, Vinny Guadagnino, and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro to dance along to.

Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino’s welcome home from prison party

Sorrentino went to prison in January 2019 and was released in September the same year. To celebrate, his roommates marked his release with a party. The roommates weren’t sure what kind of food “The Situation” was going to be craving, so they had “Big Daddy Sitch” approved foods and “The Situation” approved healthier options.

‘The Shorefather’ premiere party

In another episode of JSFV, Guadagnino made a parody movie of The Godfather to celebrate Sorrentino’s growth. “It’s beautiful — it’s the best gift I could get,” Sorrentino told his roommates as they watched the movie premiere with popcorn and candy.

Mike Sorrentino’s Soberversary on ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’

Sorrentino marked six years of sobriety in December 2021. His Jersey Shore: Family Vacation roommates did a drive-by parade to celebrate the occasion.

Baby Situation’s two gender reveal parties

The Sorrentino’s announced the sex of their baby on social media in December 2020. Clips from the event, which included lighting their Christmas tree up in blue, were featured in an episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation

Later, Sorrentino hosted a second gender reveal with his roommates present. While in the Poconos, “The Situation” ran head-first into a wall in a full-circle moment to announce their baby’s sex.

Mike and Lauren’s baby shower

During that same trip to the Poconos, the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast hosted a baby shower for the soon-to-be parents. Since Deena Cortese and Chris Buckner were also expecting their second child at the time, the party was a dual baby shower.

Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino’s ‘Blessification’

After learning his original baptism documents were missing, Sorrentino planned a “Blessification” for himself so they could baptize Romeo Reign. With the help of Uncle Nino and his godparents DelVecchio and Jenni “JWoww” Farley, “The Situation” becomes “The Blessification.”

‘The Situation’ plans the BDS Independence Day party on ‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’

In the Mar. 3 episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Sorrentino plans another party. Despite Vinny Guadagnino’s upcoming birthday, Sorrentino wants to celebrate officially being “off paper.”

Since the reality star was born on the Fourth of July, Sorrentino called the big bash the “BDS Independence Day” party. “We got earth, wind, and fire at the BDS Independence Day party,” he said in the episode. Fans will have to tune in next Jerzday to see Sorrentino’s latest party planning efforts come to fruition.

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.
