‘Jersey Shore’ Star Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi to Release Her Own Brand of Wine: Everything We Know so Far
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi isn’t just a reality TV star. She’s also a wine enthusiast. But Polizzi isn’t just drinking wine these days — as of November, she can officially add vintner to her resume. The Jersey Shore star has plans to release a brand of wine this fall called Messy Mawma. Here’s everything we know about the “Snooki” branded wine.
Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi’s life outside of reality TV
Polizzi got her start in the reality TV world in 2009 when Jersey Shore debuted on MTV. Since then, the reality star has turned “Snooki” into its own lifestyle brand. Outside of living her best life with her roommates on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, “Snooki” is a mother and a business woman.
Polizzi’s three children Lorenzo, Giovanna, and Angelo, keep her busy, but so do Polizzi’s ventures outside of the reality TV world. Polizzi owns and operates The Snooki Shop. The boutique store offers clothing and accessories hand-selected by Polizzi and currently has two locations: Beacon, New York and Madison, New Jersey. Polizzi also collaborates with Your Babiie on a line of high chairs and strollers.
When she’s not filming for Jersey Shore or running her business, Polizzi is the host of Messyness. The Ridiculousness spinoff series highlights some of the internet’s most debaucherous clips. Now, on top of all of that, Polizzi is taking on another kind of business venture.
‘Snooki’s latest business venture is a brand of wine called Messy Mawma
“Snooki” often posts about her favorite wine, Francis Coppola, on social media. She particularly enjoys the brand’s signature red Claret. Soon enough, Polizzi will be drinking her own brand of wine.
Polizzi and her podcast co-host Joey Camasta recently teased the exciting business venture. “Drink Messy Mawma wine,” Camasta says at the end of the “Back to School” episode of the It’s Happening With Snooki & Joey podcast. Polizzi gasps, then Camasta clarifies: “We talked about it already.”
“Coming soon,” Polizzi adds. “The launch is happening in November. You guys are gonna love my wine.”
According to Camasta, Messy Mawma is “f—— sick wine.” He said Polizzi might be visiting the vineyards with her husband, Jionni LaValle, sometime soon.
Showbiz Cheat Sheet reached out to Polizzi’s representation regarding Messy Mawma. They did not reply to our request for comment by the time of publication.
‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ Season 5 is a go and will feature ‘Snooki’
On Sept. 2, MTV confirmed another season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is in the works. “The upcoming fifth season marks the official return of reality TV icon ‘Snooki’ to the cast,” reads the press release. In addition to her branded wine, Polizzi will continue filming for the reality series.
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation fans have a lot more than that to look forward to. As Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino explained on the Here’s the Sitch podcast, the network renewed the reality series for four more seasons. But for those seasons to get produced, the show has to maintain a certain level of ratings.
