Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola isn’t part of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, but she’s still part of the family. She recently reconnected with her former co-star Jenni “JWoww” Farley on social media over politics, of all things.

Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola moved on from ‘Jersey Shore’

After her on-again-off-again relationship with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro during the original run of Jersey Shore, Giancola opted not to return when the series reboot in 2018.

“I have chosen not to join the show this season because I am at a completely different place in my life right now focusing on my businesses and relationship,” Giancola expressed on Instagram. “I am not the same person as I was when I was 22. At 31, I am currently extremely happy in every aspect of my life and want to avoid potentially TOXIC SITUATIONS.”

Today, Giancola keeps busy with her YouTube channel and her business, Sweetheart Styles.

The ‘Jersey Shore’ roommates aren’t in Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola’s life

In March 2019, Giancola got engaged to her boyfriend, Christian Biscardi. When she shared the news, Giancola’s Jersey Shore roommates were happy for her. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like any of them will be invited to the wedding.

Initially, Giancola was planning a 2020 ceremony, but the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic had other plans. In April 2020, a source told Us Weekly the marriage was “postponed until September.” Now, it looks like Giancola’s wedding has been pushed back to some time in 2021.

In April 2020, Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, and Deena Cortese discussed their lack of a connection with their former roommate with In Touch

“She came from a TV show that she clearly doesn’t want to be a part of anymore,” Farley said. “So, there’s probably that give and take of having us part of [the wedding]. I wish we could talk to her about it.”

Later, Pauly DelVecchio and Vinny Guadagnino discussed the prospect of being invited to Giancola’s wedding.

“I have not spoken to Sammi and I didn’t get an invite,” DelVecchio told In Touch Weekly in January 2020. “Same,” Guadagnino added.

Despite not being invited to the wedding, Giancola still remains a special part of the Jersey Shore cast, especially to Farley.

Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley and Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola reconnected on social media over the Bernie Sanders meme

After President Joe Biden’s inauguration, Bernie Sanders memes seem to be the only thing anyone can talk about — including the stars of Jersey Shore. Farley recently shared her take on the meme, which featured the iconic Sanders posed behind her and Polizzi as they draft the infamous “note” in a Miami cyber cafe.

“It was all Bernie LOL he just wouldn’t sign the release papers to be on TV #WhoWroteTheNote,” she captioned the photo on Instagram

It seems Giancola can now laugh at the situation.

“🤭😮😂” Giancola replied in the comments.

‘JWoww’ still loves Sammi ‘Sweetheart’

Despite their difficult past, Farley still considers Giancola a “sister.”

“Sam is so amazing,” Farley recently said on YouTube. “Even though she’s no longer on Jersey Shore, she’s still one of my sisters that I rarely get to speak to.” She added how Giancola holds a special place in her heart.
