Jessica Mulroney Just Revealed Why She Recently Posted and Quickly Deleted a Photo of Meghan Markle
When Meghan, Duchess of Sussex began dating Prince Harry in the summer of 2016, one of the first people she confided in was one of her best friends, stylist and Canadian socialite, Jessica Mulroney.
Meghan was introduced to Mulroney in 2011 when she first moved to Toronto from LA to star on the drama series, Suits. The women hit it off immediately, attending events together, traveling, and Meghan even introduced the prince to Mulroney’s children.
The former Good Morning America contributor was allegedly the duchess’ informal wedding planner and she styled Meghan for her final royal engagements. However, in June 2020, Mulroney was exposed by Canadian influencer Sasha Exeter who called her out for weaponizing her “textbook white privilege.” Since then, Mulroney has lost several deals including her Netflix show. She went dark on social media for months, and then she randomly posted and quickly deleted a photo of Meghan.
Fans believe Meghan Markle and Jessica Mulroney’s relationship is strained
Back in June, Mulroney was “canceled” after Exeter called out her white peers (without naming names) to use their platforms to speak out against racism. For whatever reason, Mulroney took this call-to-action as a personal attack, and she began harassing Exeter and threatening legal action for “liable.” She also said that she’d contacted brands Exeter had worked with to claim that she’d been bullied.
Since then Mulroney has apologized and stepped away from her platforms. However, fans and insiders have speculated that this put a massive strain on her relationship with the Duchess of Sussex who is mixed-race.
“Meghan is absolutely mortified that she’s been dragged into this complete mess,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “She said Jessica is in no way a racist, but the way she handled the situation (with the fashion influencer) was tone-deaf and heartbreaking.”

In her first feed post since going dark, Mulroney posted a photo of her twin sons holding Meghan’s veil in a throwback photo from her May 2018 wedding to Prince Harry.
Mulroney captioned the photo, “I see this and pure joy.” Since there has been a ton of speculation about the state of her friendship with Meghan, most people thought it was a really odd thing to post.
However, just as quickly as the random photo of Meghan was posted, Multoney snatched it down.

It appears that Mulroney got tired of the speculation about her friendship with the Duchess of Sussex and why she randomly posted and deleted the photo as well as the many others that were once on her account.
“People often ask why I delete certain posts. The amount of bullying and hatred I’ve had to put up with for 3 years….I’m tired of looking at it,” she wrote on her Instagram story. “Be kind. Be gracious. We are grown ups…stop acting like teenagers. Real women don’t put down other women.”
Hopefully Mulroney has learned something from her past missteps.
