Joanna Gaines is the face of Magnolia alongside her husband Chip Gaines. The power couple rose to fame as the hosts of Fixer Upper and are now running their own cable channel called Magnolia Network. Joanna is also heavily invested in the retail complex located in their hometown of Waco, Texas. The interior designer recently shared that Magnolia Market is getting a new resident and fans are loving it.

Joanna Gaines presented Earle

Gaines is one to look at every detail when decorating homes for her clients. The Fixer Upper: Welcome Home star has Magnolia Market that she has seen bloom and thrive as it continues to expand. Magnolia Market is a retail space designed by Joanna that also features a park and eateries for families to enjoy. Recently, the television personality introduced a staghorn fern that is getting a new home at the retail market and shared a post about it on Instagram.

“Meet Earle, He’s a 26-year-old staghorn fern that travelled all the way from Florida to his new home here at @magnolia! If you’re in town, stop by the Silos to meet Earle and see how our incredible visual team brought spring to life in the shop!” she posted.

Fans react to Magnolia Market’s new resident

After Joanna shared the video of Earle on Instagram, it wasn’t long before fans shared their comments about the beautiful tree. Among the commentators was actor Drew Barrymore that has shown her love for Joanna in the past.

“I love Earle! And you of course!!!!!!!” the Scream star said.

“Woah!!! I’m just impressed someone can keep a plant alive for 26 years!!!” a fan replied.

“If you’re wanting another one about that size or maybe bigger my Grandma is looking for someone to become the new owner of hers!” a follower added.

“And just when I thought my 55-year-old staghorn was the biggest one I have seen. Beautiful,” an Instagram user mentioned.

“I have one just like it! She’s about 30 years old- was my grammas, then my moms. After they both passed away it came to live at my house,” another fan said.

“Yes!!! I’m from the fabulous state of FL and my folks have a few of these bad boys. They just go on and grow on for ages. Love that you bought a nice big one! They are so incredible. God’s work always unfolding,” another follower mentioned.

“I have a staghorn fern that’s older than that and every bit as big but it surrounding a tree in my yard. They sure are beautiful!” another Instagram user commented.

Joanna Gaines talks about delayed launched of Magnolia Network

Magnolia Network was originally supposed to launch in 2020 but due to the pandemic, plans were pushed back. Although most of the programming was launched on discovery+, the cable premiere just happened in 2022. However, Joanna said she was thankful for the delayed launch.

“I think, looking back, we couldn’t have planned it any better,” Joanna said during an interview with Good Morning America. “It’s January, it’s a new year. Just the message of hope and inspiration from these storytellers and the stories that they’re telling… The world is ready for that kind of beauty to be seen.”

Magnolia Network is now available on cable having recently taken over the DIY Network.
