‘Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer’ star Kurt Sowers is single

Shortly after the Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer finale, Kurt revealed he and Amanda were no longer together. On Mar. 14, the reality star shared a photo with another Joe Millionaire contestant, Whitney Young, to his Instagram Stories, writing:

“Yes I’m single. No, I don’t regret not choosing Carolyn. No, Whitney and I aren’t dating but we became great friends post production. Yes, sometimes I like to grow a mustache so relax.”

Previously, Amanda addressed the split on Mar. 11. “The pros of @joemillionairefox were stepping out of my comfort zone, meeting amazing people, proving to myself I can do anything I set my mind to, and all around just watching back a really fun time in my life,” she wrote in an Instagram caption, continuing:

“Some cons would be really long filming days, martins bell, and not finding my happily ever after all. Kurt and I decided we were better as friends so I wish him nothing but the best. All in all moving forward I’m so happy I took a leap of faith and let my guard down to give love a shot.”

Carolyn Moore says Kurt Sowers only wanted to be with her when cameras weren’t rolling

In an interview with Reality Steve, Carolyn opened up about the things Kurt told her off-camera. “He would say things like … ‘How am I going to pretend to date these other women when all I want to do is be with you and see you?'” said the Joe Millionaire star

While filming, Carolyn was so confident in her connection with Kurt because of the things he told her when cameras weren’t rolling. She felt Kurt was “clinging on to the connection” because he had to “ride the show out.”

“He made it very clear to me that, ‘I want you, I don’t want you to explore anything with Steven [McBee], and we’re going to be together at the end of this, I just have to do my thing,'” Carolyn added.

Reality Steve asked if there was any way Carolyn might have misinterpreted Kurt’s words, considering who he chose in the end. “He was very clear,” she explained. “Very straight to the point.”

Carolyn Moore was one of the first people to know Kurt Sowers was single after ‘Joe Millionaire’ ended

Like so many of us, Reality Steve wondered if Kurt reached out to Carolyn after breaking up with Amanda. “Is my name Carolyn?” she said regarding whether he messaged her, adding:

“It was like clockwork. He was in my DMs immediately. I knew exactly when they broke up. He apologized for not picking me essentially and admitted that he made a huge mistake and said he was sorry for embarrassing me … he wanted me to know he made a big mistake.”

Carolyn also said Kurt wanted to see her in private, but she wasn’t interested. “I wish him the best,” the Joe Millionaire star concluded. “We probably weren’t meant to be.”
