‘Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer’ filmed in Georgia instead of France

The original Joe Millionaire shot in France at the Château de la Bourdaisière in the countryside of the commune of Montlouis-sur-Loire. The second season took place in Northern and Central Italy at the Villa Oliva in Tuscany.

According to the CinemaholicJoe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer filmed in Jackson, a city in Butts County, Georgia at Lakeshore Manor. The property is located at 26 Lakeshore Drive and boasts a grand courtyard, stacked stone fountain, a ballroom, gardens, and a lake view.

Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer also filmed outside of Lakeshore Manor. Some of the dates in the reboot take place throughout Georgia’s capital Atlanta.

‘For Richer or Poorer’ adds a twist to the original reality series

Joe Millionaire is a series that takes the essence of The Bachelor in that it features single women who compete for the affection of an eligible bachelor. Evan Marriott was the star of the original Joe Millionaire.

In the show, he was described as a high-powered millionaire. But in reality and unbeknownst to the women vying for his affection, Marriott was a construction worker whose true identity was revealed at the end of the show.

Unlike The Bachelor, which usually ends in an engagement, Joe Millionaire came to an end with lavish prizes. Despite the lies, Marriot chose Zora Andrich and the two left in a relationship, splitting the $1 million prize.

With the 2022 reboot Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer, most of the details are the same. But this time, the setting is different. Plus, there are two men this time around: Steven McBee and Kurt Sowers. One of them is a millionaire, the other is not.

How many episodes of ‘Joe Millionaire’ reboot will there be?

At the time of publication, four episodes of Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer have aired. Per The Futon Critic, there are still seven more episodes of the reality dating series to go, totaling 11 for the season. So far, the following episode titles are out:
