According to the CinemaholicJoe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer filmed in Jackson, a city in Butts County, Georgia at Lakeshore Manor. The property is located at 26 Lakeshore Drive and boasts a grand courtyard, stacked stone fountain, a ballroom, gardens, and a lake view.

‘For Richer or Poorer’ adds a twist to the original reality series

Joe Millionaire is a series that takes the essence of The Bachelor in that it features single women who compete for the affection of an eligible bachelor. Evan Marriott was the star of the original Joe Millionaire.

In the show, he was described as a high-powered millionaire. But in reality and unbeknownst to the women vying for his affection, Marriott was a construction worker whose true identity was revealed at the end of the show.
