The Jonas Brothers Are Dropping Another Album — Fans Think They’ve Already Hinted at a Release Date

The Jonas Brothers have more new music on the way following the release of 'Happiness Begins,' their first studio album in a decade. Ahead, find out when fans think the album will be released and when Nick Jonas says the band will release the track list and album title.

The Jonas Brothers show no signs of slowing down.

Just as their Happiness Begins Tour has come to a close, the Jonas Brothers have announced they are coming out with another album. The boy band who rose to fame more than a decade ago, reunited to release their 2019 album Happiness Begins featuring popular songs such as “Sucker,” “Cool,” and “Only Human.”

Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas now have fans gearing up for more new songs since the release of June 2019’s Happiness Begins, their first studio album together since 2009’s Lines, Vines and Trying Times

They sang a new song at the Grammys

The Jonas Brothers attended the 2020 Grammy Awards as nominees in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category for their song “Sucker,” earning their second Grammy nomination. Although they didn’t win — the award ultimately went to Billy Ray Cyrus and Lil Nas X for “Old Town Road” — the trio debuted a brand new song, “Five More Minutes,” on the Grammy stage.

Prior to their Grammy performance, the Jonas Brothers released the single, “What a Man Gotta Do,” with an accompanying music video featuring their wives Danielle Jonas, Priyanka Chopra, and Sophie Turner

And later revealed new songs were part of a ‘forthcoming album’

According to PopSugar Celebrity, the trio later shared that “Five More Minutes” and “What A Man Gotta Do” were part of a “forthcoming album” set to be released at some point in 2020. Following the news, the yet-to-be-revealed album became available for pre-order on the Jonas Brothers’ website for $11 as a digital download.

Fans expect new Jonas Brothers in May 2020

Prepare for Friday, May 22. Eagle-eyed viewers noticed during a TikTok video posted by the trio on Jan. 13, Joe pressed the buttons “5-2-2” on a vending machine, leading some to believe that had been a clue about the album’s release date.

If that wasn’t enough, fans think another hint about their forthcoming album lies in a YouTube the Jonas Brothers shared on Jan. 23, thanking people for watching their performance at the Grammys.

They ended the video by saying “let’s go,” leading some fans to believe that could be the name of the new album. While it might’ve simply been a way to end the video, fans pointed out they had a song called “Let’s Go” they never put on a studio album because they broke up.

Nick Jonas says title and track list will be unveiled in ‘next couple weeks’

We’ll find out soon whether or not fans were on the right track with their theories. Nick Jonas, who joined The Voice as a coach in 2020, spoke with Today during a Feb. 25 interview, where he talked about not only the show but he and his brothers’ mysterious new album, according to Billboard. Nick said details would be announced publicly very soon. As in, a few weeks

“We have been back in the studio with Ryan Tedder, working hard on the new record, which is going to be announced in the next couple weeks — title, track list, all that,” Nick said.

So, look out for big news about the Jonas Brothers’ newest album in March 2020.
