Jordan Fisher is reportedly taking on a new project in The CW’s The Flash Season 7 after appearing in multiple Netflix films the last couple of years. Fisher has been working in Hollywood for more than a decade with some of his projects showcasing his singing, acting, and dancing skills. Learn more about the star who will be joining The CW show.

Jordan Fisher got attention for ‘Grease Live!’ the musical in 2016

Fisher appeared in iCarly, Liv and Maddie, the Teen Beach Movie franchise, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager early on in his career. But his big break came in 2016 when he performed in Grease Live! the TV movie as Doody.

Twitter was ablaze with an appreciation for the triple-threat who held his own alongside Broadway veteran Aaron Tveit. Fisher sang “Those Magic Changes” while playing the guitar and showing off his melodic skills.

Fisher also performed in Rent: Live, another TV movie production as the filmmaker Mark Cohen in 2019.

After stealing fans’ hearts with his musical prowess, Fisher further made fans swoon in the coming years, which they vocalized on social media.

He appeared in Netflix films like ‘To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You’

One year after Rent: Live, Fisher continued to prove he was a star to watch. The multi-hyphenate acted as John Ambrose McClaren in Netflix’s To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You. The Netflix sequel released in 2020, showing that Fisher was a leading man ready for any romantic comedy.

His character served as a threat to the epic love story between Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo). The first film came out in 2018, the second in 2020, and the third and final one was released in 2021.

In addition to the To All the Boys franchise, Fisher also acted in the TV series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and the Netflix film Work It alongside Sabrina Carpenter. Furthermore, Fisher acted on Broadway in Hamilton and the titular role in Dear Evan Hansen.

He also competed on Dancing with the Stars with partner Lindsay Arnold and won the Mirrorball Trophy.

For his latest role, Fisher is continuing his television career with a new project: The CW’s The Flash. The actor will be joining season 7 as Bart Allen, per Variety.

The outlet reported that Fisher’s character will be introduced in the 17th episode of the season as a recurring guest star role. His character is “the future son of Barry aka the Flash (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton) and is said to be ‘the fastest teenager on the planet,'” per the publication.

The star reacted to the announcement on Twitter.

“HOLY — thank you all for the love today,” he wrote. “They’ve got some pretty sweet plans for Bart/Impulse. Can’t wait to meet the cast and start this race!”
