K. Michelle, the music star of Love & Hip Hop fame, was trending this week due to an Instagram Live video she did. After people started talking about it and botched procedures she’s had, K. Michelle decided to address it all on Twitter.

K. Michelle is known for her music and ‘Love & Hip Hop’

R&B singer K. Michelle was a main cast member on the first two seasons of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. When the time came for the show’s fifth season, she came back to the series a main cast member. K. Michelle also has the distinction of starring in more than two of the franchise’s series. She was a main cast member for the fourth season of Love & Hip Hop: New York. She has been a main cast member on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood since its fifth season.

The singer has had several feuds in the franchise with folks like Mimi Faust, Karlie Redd, and Rasheeda Forest on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. On Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood series, she feuded with Lyrica Anderson and A1. On each show, storylines have also revolved around her romances.

When she relocated to Miami, many wondered if she would be joining Love & Hip Hop: Miami. In response to this, K. Michelle said, “Absolutely not. I don’t do crackheads. I don’t do well with drug addicts. I can’t … they don’t take no responsibility. I’m in a new place in life. If I know you on some stuff, then I’m just gone leave you there with the stuff.” It is presumed that K. Michelle was referring to Joseline Hernandez, with who she had a well-documented feud. The feud was depicted during their days together on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

Of course, outside of reality television, K. Michelle is a popular R&B singer. She’s released several successful albums including Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart? and More Issues Than Vogue. Her hit singles include “V.S.O.P.” and “Can’t Raise a Man.”

K. Michelle addresses fans after she had an implant malfunction on Instagram

K. Michelle has been very open about plastic surgery and body modification producers that she has undergone. She has used her story as a cautionary tale, warning other women about doing such procedures and only doing them safely if they need or want to.

On an Instagram Live recently, fans noticed what seemed to be an implant moving around when she was dancing. In a series of tweets, K. Michelle addressed the chatter. “So the video of me dancing is sad that I even have 2explain,” she wrote in part. “I walked y’all through how difficult this process of removing silicone from my body for 3YEARS/16 surgeries Did we not forget I almost died due 2this?????? Now i’m in the process of 3 reconstruction steps.”

She continued, “I got on live yesterday and didn’t care that I wasn’t perfect, I knew I had excessive fat left over but I said F**K it i’m not going to hide nothing in my house. I don’t think people truly understand i’m just happy to be alive. I’ve come so far with this and i’m proud of myself.”

K. Michelle also noted in the thread that she has one surgery left and will have skin removed. She says if people knew what she was going through, they wouldn’t be saying hateful things. Revealing that she still has stitches, the singer says she’s working on a new Lifetime project to focus on “silicone removal and botched surgeries” and tell her story to help others.
