Kaitlynn Carter Says Her Life Changed Dramatically After Dating Miley Cyrus

Back in August 2019, jaws- dropped when Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth announced their divorce after less than a year of marriage. Things got even more scandalous when Cyrus was spotted getting romantic with her friend, Kaitlynn Carter. The Hills: New Beginnings star has always been friendly with Cyrus, but things turned hot and heavy with the ladies. At the time, Carter was also reeling from her the demise of her relationship with Brody Jenner.

Inside Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter’s whirlwind romance

Since Cyrus had only recently announced her separation with Hemsworth, fans were alarmed that she was moving way too fast with Carter. Still, after being with Hemsowrh for so long, it appeared that the free-spirited reality starlet was much more of a match for the Bangerz singer.

“She just got to the point where she didn’t want to hold back about who she is,” an insider told People at the time. “She wants to be true to herself. Being with Liam, this was just not possible. For them to be happy, she had to change as a person too much. She knows not being with Liam will make her happier in the long run. [Kaitylnn and Miley] live together and are very happy. Miley is doing great. She is moving on. She seems to have no regrets. She loves being with Kaitlynn.”

However, after just six-short weeks Carter and Cyrus went their separate ways.

Kaitlynn Carter and Miley Cyrus’ breakup was shocking

Just as quickly as the romance between the friends began, it ended abruptly, shocking everyone, including Carter. It appears that Cyrus wasn’t quite ready to dive into another full blow relationship.

“Miley did not want to rush into anything,” a source revealed to TMZ. “She and Kaitlynn have been close friends for a long time and things got romantic. Miley was ready to call it off because she wasn’t ready for a relationship. She needs to be by herself. She and Kaitlynn spent every day together, and it just wasn’t anything that Miley wanted to continue doing. She wants to focus on her career. It wasn’t an easy decision, but this is ultimately what she wants.”

The breakup was apparently so upsetting to Carter that she and Cyrus are no longer even friends.

I had no plan in place.”
