Kanye West has been making headlines for his numerous Instagram posts criticizing his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian West. In early February, West shared his displeasure at the fact that his oldest daughter, North, has a TikTok account.

However, some fans recently criticized West for posting videos of his kids after wanting North to be taken off of social media.

What did Kanye West say about North being on TikTok?

On Feb. 4, West made a now-deleted post on Instagram with a screenshot of 8-year-old North on TikTok.

West wrote in the caption, “SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL ?”

Kardashian West has not publicly criticized West since their divorce in early 2021. However, in response to West’s post about North being on TikTok, Kardashian West fired back with a statement.

“Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create,” Kardashian West wrote. “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision – because it brings her happiness.”

The reality TV star also added, “Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.”

Kanye West is criticized by fans after posting videos of his kids

On Feb. 13, West held one of his famous Sunday Services, which was also attended by his four children. Afterward, West went to the SoFi Stadium to watch the Super Bowl with his two oldest kids, North and Saint. Throughout these events, West posted videos of his children on Instagram for his millions of followers.

Some fans on Reddit have criticized these moves from West, especially after he made a big deal about North being on TikTok.

“I REALLY respect celebrities who protect their kids’ identities because kids aren’t meant to be known and dissected by the whole world,” one person wrote. “Kanye just cares about controlling his kids’ privacy.”

Meanwhile, another person added, “He was on Instagram live allllll morning showing Sunday service and North and Saint would run right up to the camera every few minutes. You could probably see their pores if you wanted. At one point there were just under 400K viewers … ‘I wanna give my kids at a chance at a normal, private life. They can grow up and decide if they wanna be on camera, we shouldn’t pimp them out’. 400,000 people. A freaking hour. Then the Super Bowl. Nothing says ‘privacy’ like Instagram live & the Super Bowl jumbotron.”

In addition to talking about his kids on social media, West has also been attacking Pete Davidson, whom Kardashian West started dating in late 2021.

In January, West released a song called “Eazy” with lyrics that say “God saved me from that crash / Just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a**.” Additionally, he also calls Davidson “Skete” in Instagram posts and accuses Davidson of tearing up West’s family.

However, Kardashian West seems to be taking the high road and not engaging with West on social media. According to Buzzfeed, many onlookers have shared their admiration for Kardashian West and her “dignified silence.”
