Duchess Kate Middleton has been in the public eye since she first began dating Prince Harry in 2001. However, she’s been an official member of the British Royal Family –giving up her own career and privacy since 2011 when she married the prince. The graceful Brit has done an excellent job in her role as the Duchess of Cambridge, raising her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis as her husband prepares to be the King of England one day.

Still, Middleton –who is a bit more traditional than her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle –hasn’t been as vocal about her true feeling about being royal. Luckily, the duchess just revealed how she really feels about being a princess.

This is how Kate Middleton really feels about being a “princess.”

During a recent visit to Northern Ireland with Prince William, Kate Middleton stopped to chat with some young admirers during a walkabout in Ballymena. According to Valentine Low –a journalist at The Times one pint-sized fan named Hannah Ritchie asked the duchess how she felt about being a princess. Hannah also revealed that she is writing a biography about Middleton.

The duchess replied, “I love meeting special kiddies like you. I meet lots of different people, it’s really… it’s really great. I love working with young people. Everyone’s so brave and strong in some of the places we go meet. It’s very nice to meet you. Good luck with your biography.”

How does Kate Middleton approach royal life?

Since Middleton has a more traditional approach to being royal and her husband; Prince William will be King of England one day, she hardly breaks or bends the rules. Royal commentator Rupert Bell explained, “In a way, Kate is a traditional, English rose as it were.”

Does Kate Middleton want more kids?

Kate Middleton and Prince William’s youngest son, Prince Louis will turn 1-year-old this year, and with a 4-year-old daughter, and 6-year-old son, the royals certainly have their hands full. During her trip to Ireland, the duchess was delighted to talk to all of the adorable little children who came out to greet her and the prince.

During her visit the duchess met an adorable 5-month-old baby, James Barr and she told his father, Alan Barr, “He’s gorgeous. It makes me feel broody.” This promoted Alan to ask the duchess flat out if she and the duke were planning to have a fourth child to which Middleton replied laughing, “I think William would be a little worried.” It looks like Middleton and Prince William have their hands very full with their trio of children.

With Meghan Markle and Prince Harry expecting their first child in the coming months –it looks like the Cambridge clan can treat Baby Sussex as their fourth sibling.
