While Keeping Up With the Kardashians is all about the Kar-Jenner family, supporting cast members make names for themselves too. Enter Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian’s on-again-of-again boyfriend with whom she shares three kids. Disick’s a pretty regular face on KUWTK, as he’s been since the show’s 2007 debut. His relationship with Kourtney Kardashian
Since KUWTK Season 1, Disick’s been part of the show as a result of his romance with Kourtney. Season after season, there is some sort of drama between them. Early episodes feature Disick’s partying and him being a poor sport on family vacations.
When the two welcome their first son, Mason, cameras document their journey as parents. Today, they co-parent Mason, Penelope, and Reign, meaning Disick will always be part of Kourtney’s life.
‘KUWTK’ has helped Scott Disick launch his own brand
Viewers of the long-running reality series enjoy Disick’s funny comments. In fact, his humor is what makes him a fan-favorite. Due to his popularity on KUWTK, he’s become a household name along with the rest of the Kar-Jenner family and built his own fan base.
He’s appeared in spin-offs of the show and, as a result, he now runs his own clothing brand, Talentless. He also tried out being the star of his own reality show in 2019. Canceled after just one season, Disick showed off his skills at flipping houses on his E! series, Flip It Like It Disick. The father of three may continue to stay involved with KUWTK because it provides good exposure for Talentless.
He’s close with the Kar-Jenner family
Sharing kids with Kourtney and knowing her for more than a decade, it’s no surprise Disick’s close with the Kar-Jenner family. Who does he have the strongest bond with? It’s hard to say but he and Khloé Kardashian are good friends. They’re known to team up and orchestrate some pretty hilarious moments on KUWTK.
Besides his friendship with Khloé, Disick is close to Kourtney’s mom, Kris Jenner, and the rest of the Kar-Jenner siblings. He wishes everyone in the family a happy birthday on social media and he even gets together with Kris’ mom, Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon.
Viewers may see less of Scott Disick in future episodes After 18 seasons of KUWTK and going back and forth about her decision, Kourtney’s decided to take a break from filming the show. Does that mean fans will see less of Disick? Maybe.
If Kourtney and her kids don’t have a camera crew filming their lives on a regular basis chances are there will be less airtime for Disick. But, because of his established relationships with the rest of the Kar-Jenner clan, we wouldn’t be surprised if he continues to make appearances on the show. The change will likely mean fewer dad moments and more of Disick having fun with the rest of the family.
