Kelly Dodd Claims Return To ‘RHOC’ Season 16 and Bravo Releases a Statement
Kelly Dodd and the rest of the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County have been on stand by. The Bravo ladies have not been informed if they will be returning for season 16. Dodd, who has been a controversial figure on social media, seems to be sure she is coming back. However, after she made a statement, the cable network reacted and set the record straight.

There’s been a lot of rumors surrounding the RHOC cast. Dodd is at the center of major backlash over controversial comments she’s made about the coronavirus. The reality TV personality has been widely rumored to be getting fired from the show. Furthermore, Andy Cohen shook things up when he tweeted that a “reboot” might be the way to go with this franchise.
All of the talk surrounding the show has paved a way for rumors to arise as fans are eager to know what’s going to happen with the show. Things got interesting when Instagram blog Deuxmoi posted a rumor about the future of RHOC.
To be clear, this blog doesn’t verify its sources and only posts information sent by alleged insiders. Some of those statements end up being true, while others are complete and flat-out lies. Nonetheless, Deuxmoi shared that most of the RHOC housewives would be receiving the boot.
“Same friend also works at Bravo. RHOC shakeup is coming,” the anonymous source suggested. “Kelly [Dodd], Braunwyn [Windham-Burke], Emily [Simpson], and Elizabeth [Lyn Vargas] are out. Tamra [Judge] will be back. Heather [Dubrow] and Alexis [Bellino] said no. They’re trying to get Gretchen [Rossi] and her rich Newport [Beach] friends on but Gretchen won’t return if Tamra’s still on the show.”
If the tip was to be true, only Shannon Beador and Gina Kirschenheiter would be receiving an orange from the current cast.

After RHOC fans shared the information on social media, they took to an authority in Real Housewives tea to verify the rumor.
“FYI, that Deux Moi RHOC tea isn’t true, so please stop sending it to me,” Dave Quinn tweeted.
When a fan asked to clarify the statement about which part of the rumor was false, Quinn said, “All of it isn’t true. There been no decisions made yet.”
When Dodd read all the attention she was getting on social media, she took to Twitter to react to all of the rumors. In her statement, she seemingly confirmed she had a spot in the new season of RHOC.
“It’s actually kinda funny… I’ve heard these rumors every year for the last five years. Looking forward to my sixth season,” Dodd tweeted.

Dodd’s response rattled RHOC fans as many are hoping for a major shakeup on the show. Bravo usually doesn’t comment on details about casting until a final decision has been made. However, following Dodd’s statement, the network went on the record about where casting for season 16 stands.
“Despite Dodd’s declaration, Bravo tells ET that the network has yet to make any casting decisions about season 16 of the reality series,” Entertainment Tonight reported.
Bravo seems to still be shelling out details about the future of RHOC and has not finalized their lineup. Although Dodd seemed to be sure that she would return for another season, the cable network denied there’s anything confirmed. Fans will have to wait a couple more weeks to find out what happens with the cast once the show starts filming.
