Is Kendall Jenner Really Engaged? Watch Her Flaunt a Wedding Ring in New Video
Kendall Jenner was recently sporting a diamond ring that caused her loved ones to do a double-take.
In a new video with sister Kourtney Kardashian, the supermodel snapped a photo of herself wearing a wedding ring and sent it to her entire family. Naturally, the Kar-Jenners quickly reached out for answers, but Jenner assured them it was nothing more than just a fun prank.
Kendall Jenner first pranked her mom by saying she’s pregnant
In a video posted to YouTube on May 1 for Kourtney Kardashian’s Poosh lifestyle brand, Jenner played some big pranks on her family during a game of Truth or Dare.
First, Kourtney dared the supermodel to call momager Kris Jenner and tell her that she’s pregnant, which the momager fell for right away.
“So, I have a scenario. I have not gotten my period in a little while and I was supposed to get it last week so I was kind of nervous and randomly took a test,” Jenner begins. “And It came back positive so I took another one and that one also came back positive and I am literally about to cry.”
The Kardashian matriarch reveals she had a dream in which her daughter was pregnant the night before.
Kendall then says she’s freaking out and doesn’t know what to do, which Kris replied to with, “Well, I’ll put on my clothes and get over there. I’ll tell you, Kendall, you know, you have to do whatever your heart tells you to do. I think it’s great news, but I’m your mom.”
Jenner couldn’t keep it together any longer and finally comes clean.
“Mom, I’m just kidding,” she says, laughing. “Mom, I’m with Kourtney. We’re playing Truth or Dare for Poosh.”
She then adds, “I love you, and I loved your reaction,” before the momager quips, “Oh brother, OK, I’ll go put the champagne back on ice.”
Kendall Jenner was dared to tell her family she’s engaged to Devin Booker
Following her prank on Kris Jenner, the supermodel was dared to text the family group chat and tell them that she’s engaged to her NBA player boyfriend, Devin Booker.
“Mom’s gonna be like ‘what is happening,’ but it’s believable, so I will do it,” Jenner said as she reached for her phone.
She then puts on a producer’s engagement ring and texts a photo of herself wearing it on her left hand to the Kar-Jenners.
Sister Kylie Jenner immediately FaceTimes Kendall and calls her out for lying, noting that the ring doesn’t even fit.
Kim Kardashian West and Khloé Kardashian also call in and let Jenner know that they weren’t buying the photo one bit.
“That’s so stupid,” the Good American founder said. “Why would you do that to us?”
Kendall replied, “I know, it was so fun,” while Kourtney pointed out, “Well, at least we know you guys will be excited when the day comes.”
“I know,” the model added. “You guys were so hyped.”
Kendall Jenner is open to marriage and kids
Though she isn’t pregnant or engaged to be married, Jenner has thought about settling down one day in the future.
While she’s open to having kids of her own one day, the model previously revealed that she isn’t ready to take that step at this point in her life.
“I have moments where I’m like, ‘Do I have baby fever? Like, do I want a baby right now?’ But I don’t. I don’t.” she told Ellen DeGeneres in 2018. “But I’m good. I can wait for a little while longer.”
While speaking with Vogue magazine that same year, Jenner made it clear that she has zero plans to have kids, noting that she wants to wait a few years before starting a family of her own.
“I am ready to wait,” she said. “I want to have kids, but at, like, 28 or 29.” That’s a good six or seven years in the future.”
As for marriage, Jenner wants to one day tie the knot but notes that she plans to keep that part of her life private.
“Maybe. Definitely not now, but maybe one day,” she said when asked about whether she’s thought of settling down. “I got a glimpse of how my sisters dealt with [the attention] and it’s cool to learn from that.”
She explained, “For me, a lot of things are very special and very sacred, like my friends and relationships. And I personally think that bringing things into the public makes everything so much messier.”
