Khloé Kardashian is the latest Kar-Jenner sister to get into the real estate business. Just a few weeks after Kylie Jenner purchased her brand new Holmby Hills mansion, Kardashian put her Calabasas property on the market for a whopping $18.5 million.

Though she’s saying goodbye to the home she’s lived in for the past six years, the Good American founder could be saying hello to a very large check because she’s looking to profit around $10 million if this celebrity pedigree estate sells for the full asking price.

Kardashian bought the home for $7.2 million in 2014

Kardashian is officially selling her Calabasas mansion for an eye-watering $18.5 million.

The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion is the first home the reality star bought after ending her tumultuous marriage from NBA player Lamar Odom in 2013.

After moving out of the estate she and Odom shared, Kardashian purchased the Calabasas property, which is just down the street from her sister Kourtney’s mansion and only five minutes from her mother Kris Jenner’s Hidden Hills home.

The listing was first revealed on an episode of IGTV’s real estate show The Society Group’s Real Talk, where Kardashian’s realtor, Tomer Fridman, shared some juicy details about the estate.

According to Fridman, the property makes up 2 acres of land and is “one of only 16 properties that sits on Malibu Canyon.”

He also revealed that that the home was previously owned “by the ex-wife of an uber celebrity,” as well as a “very young pop star, who is very famous still to this day.”

Though Fridman didn’t disclose any names, Kardashian revealed during her 2016 Architectural Digest cover story that she bought the mansion from Justin Bieber, who, according to property reports, purchased the home from the ex-wife of Eddie Murphy, Nicole Murphy.

The reality star reportedly put down $7.2 million for the property in 2014. But after renovating the interior and exterior of the home – which included removing Bieber’s skateboard ramp from the grounds – the house is now listed for a little less than $19 million, meaning Kardashian could be making a profit of around $10 million.

She’s made major renovations to the mansion

As fans of Keeping Up With the Kardashians already know, Kardashian completely revamped her Calabasas mansion following her split from Tristan Thompson in 2019.

To fully feng shui the NBA player out of her home, Kardashian enlisted the help of famed designers, Waldo Fernandez and Tommy Clements, to give her estate a post-breakup renovation.

While remodeling was taking place, KoKo lived in a Los Angeles rental property with daughter, True Thompson, for six months.

After all the changes she wanted to be done were made, Kardashian moved back into her newly designed home, marking the special occasion on her Instagram Story.

“I walk into my house because I’m moving and guess who’s here—The Home Edit to make me happy,” she said in the video.

Since then, Kardashian has been living happily in her Calabasas casa with baby True.

But after owning the lavish estate for six years, Kardashian feels its time to move on to bigger and better things and might have found a home that will give her the fresh start she desires.

Why is Kardashian moving?

After hearing about the renovation Kardashian’s home has gone through, you’re probably wondering why she’s decided to sell her lavish mansion.

According to Entertainment Tonight, KoKo’s actually “found an even bigger home” in the local area that’s sparked her interest.

There’s no word on whether she’s made an offer on the property yet, we can already guess that whatever home Kardashian buys, it’ll be just as extravagant as her Calabasas estate.
