As kids grow up, many parents start to notice inherited traits showing up. Khloé Kardashian has been experiencing this with her 3-year-old daughter, True. However, Kardashian recently shared that there is a trait she wishes True had not inherited from her.

What is Khloé Kardashian like a parent?

During her “Mom Confessions” video for The Ellen Show, Kardashian talked about her parenting style. The reality TV starlet revealed that, compared to her sisters, she is one of the stricter parents.

“I am really strict,” she explained. “I have a schedule. I’m very militant with how I parent True. I believe that a schedule saves everything. Not all of my siblings are the same. I will not tell you which ones.”

Kardashian has talked about something similar in early November in an interview with Cosmopolitan UK.

“I try and take her to every gymnastics class and I schedule things around her schedule – I live and die by a schedule!” she explained. “Every single day, everything is accounted for and that gives me a sense of peace because there are typically no surprises. My mom has always been regimented, so I definitely get that from her.”

Khloé Kardashian feels ‘bad’ that True inherited her need for organization

In addition to being a devoted scheduler, Kardashian is also insanely organized. Fans might remember the many social media videos and pictures in which Kardashian showed off her tidy closet, fridge, and pantry.

Some family members even recommended that Kardashian seek therapy to help with this need for organization.

However, although Kardashian has talked about this trait in a positive manner, she admits she feels “bad” that True has inherited her need for organization.

“I don’t want that for True, but she already has so much of that,” she said in the “Mom Confessions” video. “I feel bad that she has so much of it so young, but every toy has to be put back exactly where she got it from—not from me, that’s what she does. I always just try to mess things up and tell her, ‘It’s OK to live in a mess.’ Although I’m cringing inside, I don’t want her to cringe.”

At the end of the day, the difficulties of parenting have not put Kardashian off of having more kids. In fact, having come from a big family, Kardashian wants a similar experience for True.

“I have so many brothers and sisters,” Kardashian said on The Ellen’s Show segment “Lady Parts” in early 2021. “I think it’s such a blessing—especially during these times—to have a family member or people that you can play with and rely on and just have a buddy through life.”

Kardashian has been trying to conceive more children with her ex-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, who is also True’s father. Although Kardashian initially wanted to get pregnant via in vitro fertilization (IVF), the couple decided to find a surrogate, especially because doctors worry Kardashian might not be able to carry.

In October 2021, Kardashian tweeted that she would like to conceive another child “if it’s in God’s plan.”
