Khloé Kardashian Seemingly Breaks Silence on Tristan Thompson Scandal, ‘I’m Barely in My Own Body’
Khloé Kardashian has been making headlines since her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson allegedly fathered a child while they were together. But recently, the reality star was in the news for her own actions. During the People’s Choice Awards, Kardashian got heat for supposedly shading Halle Berry. Now, she has responded to those claims and also seemingly addressed the situation with Thompson.
Khloé Kardashian responds to shady claims
Berry accepted the People’s Icon Award at the 2021 People’s Choice Awards. During her acceptance speech, the camera panned to Kardashian and some viewers believed that the reality star was making a dismissive face.
Later, Kardashian addressed the viewers who thought she was shading Berry.
“That’s disappointing my face gave that expression. Halle Berry is such a force,” she tweeted. “Absolutely stunning and beyond talented.”
Then, she seemingly addressed the Thompson scandal.
“Tbh I’m barely in my own body right now,” she continued. “Please don’t read into anything. Also please don’t tear me apart because you assumed something.”
What did Tristan Thompson do?
Recently, reports broke that Thompson may have fathered a child with personal trainer Maralee Nichols. Thompson basically admitted to having relations with Nichols in texts asking her to drop her paternity lawsuit against him.
“You know how I feel,” he wrote, according to the texts obtained by HollywoodLife. “My feelings haven’t changed at all. Won’t be involved at all. Btw if you think having this baby is gonna make you some money. It’s completely wrong.”
He continued, saying that she was better off dropping the sit.
“You are aware that I’m retiring after this season,” he continued. “So in terms of support, it will be whatever is required monthly for someone who’s unemployed. It’s Texas, so it will be only a couple hundred dollars. So, you better off taking this 75k I’m offering cause you won’t get nothing near that with having a kid with a father who’s unemployed.”
How does Khloé Kardashian feel?
Though she showed up at the People’s Choice Awards, Kardashian has reportedly been having a hard time coping.
“Khloé is kind of gloomy about the news of Tristan’s new [alleged] baby, especially going into the holidays,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “Khloé is always so positive, but this brought her down a little. She has always been into giving Tristan tons of chances and deep down held out hope that they would maybe get back together one day. There is no hope and it’s really done for now, but she thinks it’s for the best.”
And the rest of the Kardashians just want the relationship to be completely over.
“They would never trash Tristan in front of True, but they think Khloé needs to put him in his place and not act so nice constantly. He hasn’t been great to her,” the source added. “The family is not at all surprised by the news and have Khloé’s back and just want her to be fine with it and not sad. They don’t think Tristan would ever be faithful and are glad their romantic relationship is done.”
