Kardashian discussed Kourtney’s decision to quit

During a July 15 interview with The View, Kardashian was asked what she thought about her sister quitting KUWTK and whether she’s ever entertained the idea of quitting too.

Since Kourtney said she needed to stop filming the reality show to “live a more private life,” The View hosts wondered if Kardashian ever entertained the idea of quitting herself.

“Definitely there’s some seasons that you’re experiencing life at its heaviest and you obviously would want to do anything besides be on camera,” Kardashian explained. “But when you sign up for the show, you sign up to show the good and the bad.”

She continued, “I really respect my sister for doing what’s best for her well being and her mental health. At the end of the day, we just want Kourt to be happy and healthy, and she is that right now. She’s in a really great place and that makes me really happy.”

The thought of quitting has crossed Kardashian’s mind, however. “Yeah, I probably think about it for a minute and then I just need kind of like an afternoon to myself and then I wake up the next day and I’m good to go,” she explained. “I love what I do. I love all the time I get to spend with my family. It’s such a blessing and I’m really grateful for it. I don’t really think those thoughts for too long.”

Kardashian shared details about the big ‘KUWTK’ fight

The new season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians returns in September and the Good American co-founder had a little bit of a teaser for what fans can expect with Kourtney gone.

But first, she was asked about the physical fight that broke out between Kourtney and Kim. “With us, being physical really has never been an option before, so to see that… at first, me and my sister Kendall kind of thought they were play fighting or teasing one another.”

She stepped in when things escalated and assured that “normally, that’s not how we treat each other.” Kardashian added, “We might be vicious with our mouths but it’s normally never physical. So that isn’t our normal… and it’s definitely something that we don’t want to be our normal.”

Kardashian teased some of the next season of ‘KUWTK’

In the new season, Kardashian says, there won’t be physical fighting. “It is a lot about… you know because we are filming the pandemic and everything going on in the world and so it’s a lot of that… how we’re going to cope with this new normal,” she explained.

“And also coping with Kourtney taking a step back and putting herself and her family first and all of those different dynamics with that,” Kardashian added.

Kourtney will be back, in some small way. “Currently, we are starting to film a little bit here, they’re all self-shooting and Kourtney does want to film a little bit more, but at her own pace. That’s good and that’s something exciting to look forward to,” she explained.
