2020 is a milestone year of Kim Kardashian, the businesswoman and mother of four will turn 40 on Oct. 21. Since we’ve literally seen the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star grow up and mature over the past decade and some change, it’s amazing to reflect on who she is now.
When she first burst onto the scene in 2007, very little was known about the KKW Beauty mogul except that she was good friends with heiress, Paris Hilton. Things have changed drastically since then.
Now, Kardashian is one of the most recognizable women in the world with a startling net worth of $370 million, three massive businesses — KKW Beauty, KKW Fragrance, and Skims as well as aspirations about becoming an attorney. That’s not bad for a girl whom many people say doesn’t have any talent. Still, despite her success, Kardashian has one goal in mind for her 40th birthday.

When she first rose to fame — Kardashian and her momager, Kris Jenner, would slap the Kardashian name on anything. That got old soon, the KarJenners were touting awful products, and they were constantly getting sued for copyright infringement and everything else.
However, with the rating on KUWTK dropping, Kardashian decided to get serious about business. When she launched KKW Beauty 2017, with a $48 contour kit, it sold out in MINUTES–bringing in $13 million in sales. When it was time to launch KKW Fragrance, Kardashian took the marketing into her own hands to promote her products through social media. Her first scent made $10 million.
Still, her shapewear line Skims might be her most financially brillant endeavor. When Skims launch in September after undergoing a rebrand from its original name Kimono–it “pushed $2 million in product” within just MINUTES. Those numbers are just “unprecedented for shape.
Kardashian is also actively studying for the bar exam while speaking out for prison reform and against mass incarceration.

In addition to her very busy professional life, Kardashian is also a wife and mother. She has been married to her rapper husband, Kanye West for almost six years. The starlet has four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm whom she is raising to be well-adjusted people. In addition to her professional work, Kardashian is often party planning while cleaning up spills and tears.

Each morning before her kids wake up, Kardashian does her workout with her trainer, Melissa Alcantara — and it’s not always pretty. “I’m so not in the mood for this today,” Kardashian told Alcantara in a a recent Instagram video.
Still, the makeup mogul remains diligent about her workout routine because she has goals. “To feel good, I just want to get it like, a really good goal weight, and so that means working out at all costs,” she said in the video. “It’s my eating. I work out but it’s like my eating. But Melissa and I have a major goal for by the time I’m 40.”
