Kim Kardashian has made an incredible name for herself since her family’s reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, first premiered in 2007. Kardashian has had a very successful modeling career and has since become an entrepreneur with the launch of her beauty line, KKW Beauty, and her fragrance line, KKW Fragrance. Though Kardashian might seem above the rest of us, she’s only human, and naturally, there are certain foods she hates. In fact, there are three she totally avoids.

The Kardashians care a lot about their health

The Kardashian family makes plenty of public appearances, and eating right and staying in shape remain at the top of their priority list. When KUWTK first premiered, Khloé Kardashian was often bullied for being the “heavier” sister. Being in the spotlight means the women are constantly under scrutiny, so it makes sense that they would feel the pressure to stay in shape. Kim Kardashian reportedly trains with trainers Melissa Alcantara and Gunnar Peterson (she also introduced Peterson to her siblings, and he now trains them, too) and gets a workout in every single day.

For the most part, Kardashian and her sisters eat very healthy

Though everyone needs to indulge now and then, the Kardashians care a lot about their appearance and therefore focus greatly on their diets. The women tend to eat very healthy, and Kardashian even let the world in on what she typically eats in a day. The model-turned-business-woman starts her morning with something hearty, such as blueberry oatmeal pancakes. At lunch, she makes sure to incorporate plenty of healthy carbohydrates and protein, so her meal might include chicken, sweet potatoes, and vegetables. For dinner, Kardashian keeps healthy fats and protein the focus with some fish; she pairs it with more veggies to get some additional vitamins and minerals.

Kardashian absolutely hates mustard, cilantro, and blue cheese

Kardashian isn’t necessarily a picky eater, though she does have certain foods she doesn’t like. On one episode of KUWTK, Kardashian revealed that she absolutely hates three foods: Mustard, cilantro, and blue cheese. Kris Jenner replied with, “Who hates blue cheese?” Since it seems so many people adore the pungent food. However, according to Health.com, there could be biological reasons why someone might hate these particular foods. It turns out humans have a genetic predisposition to disliking cilantro because it’s a scent that reminds us of soap or hand lotion, which we knowingly are raised to avoid eating. And blue cheese and mustard both have a very strong flavor that doesn’t agree with everyone’s palates.

Despite hating cilantro, Kardashian says Mexican food is her favorite

Although Kardashian avoids cilantro at all costs, she actually recently said she loves Mexican food. Us Weekly reports that Kardashian told her Instagram followers that Mexican food is “so good” when someone asked what her absolute favorite food is. She then sent a photo of chips and guacamole and said that’s what she was currently eating. Kardashian once also said she eats an entirely plant-based diet when she’s home — maybe someday she’ll want to incorporate some cilantro into that Mexican food.
