Kim Kardashian West Shocks Kanye West by Revealing the 1 Thing She’s Never Used in Their Home
There’s no denying that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s minimalist Hidden Hills home isn’t anything short of amazing.
From their over-the-top room designs to their simplistic decor, the West’s have turned their prime Calabasas real estate into one of the most fascinating and aesthetically pleasing homes many of us have ever seen.
While everything about this house fits Kimye’s personalities to a T, there is one aspect of this mansion Kardashian West has yet to utilize, despite it being a staple in Southern California homes.
Kardashian West says she’s never been in her pool
Living in California all her life, you would think that Kardashian West loves the water and enjoys the feeling of jumping into her pool every now and again.
Though that’s the case for a lot of people, it turns out that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star hasn’t even stepped foot into her pool, despite having lived in her Hidden Hills mansion since 2017.
While she has shared photos of the beautifully designed pool on social media, Kardashian West recently revealed to her husband that she has yet to swim in it.
In fun video promoting their March cover story of Architectural Digest, the topic is brought up while Kardashian and her rapper husband quiz each other on their home design.
During the 11-minute video, West asks his wife, “When was the last time you used the pool?”
After hesitating for a bit, the Skims founder replies with, “I’ve never used our pool, actually,” shocking her husband and those watching.
“Yeah can you believe that? But I love our pool,” Kardashian West says before admitted that she’s more into jacuzzis, which the rapper hilariously mocked.
Though she enjoys hot tubs a little more, Kardashian and West figured out a way to have the best of both worlds by making “sure that [the pool] is hot all the time.”
“Kanye wanted, everyone wanted, a jacuzzi like weird off to the side, and we just wanted like a really long front stair, which has been amazing because the babies just sit on that stair,” Kardashian explained.
“I wanted a jacuzzi, and then everyone kept designing them off to the side, and it bothered you so much,” she continued. “But the kids love to swim in a Jacuzzi, so you said, ‘No, the whole pool will be a Jacuzzi.'”
Does swimming trigger Kardashian?
Although the West family loves water and swimming, it seems like Kardashian West’s days of splashing around in pools and other bodies of water are behind her.
Let’s not forget that the reality star experienced her most traumatic — and iconic — moment while swimming on vacation in Bora Bora back in 2011.
While enjoying some fun in the sun with the rest of the KarJenners, the KKW mogul gets tossed into the ocean by then-husband, Kris Humphries, and loses one of her $75,000 earrings.
Though the earring was retrieved in the end, Kardashian has rarely been spotted swimming in water since and we can definitely see why.
Whether or not her days of swimming are long gone, we have a feeling that it’s only a matter of time before Kardashian takes a dip in the pool that pulls her and West’s minimalist home altogether.
