The Kardashian-Jenners are known for giving their kids unique names. From Chicago to Dream to Stormi, it seems their little ones are sure to stand out in any crowd.

Because of this, the Kardashian-Jenners take naming very seriously. In Kourtney Kardashian’s case, her youngest son, Reign, tried out a particular name shortly after his birth before the family settled on his current one.

Kourtney Kardashian has 3 children

Kardashian has three children with her ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick.

Their oldest child, Mason, was born in 2009. He was the first of the Kardashian-Jenner grandchildren to be born, and his birth was even documented on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

In 2012, Kardashian and Disick welcomed another child, a daughter named Penelope.

Finally, two years later, they had a son named Reign.

Kourtney Kardashian once shared that Reign went by a different name for a day

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2019 with two of her sisters, Kardashian revealed that Reign did not always have the name Reign. In fact, after he was born, the youngest Disick child was essentially nameless for a week.

“I would try out a different name on different days,” Kardashian shared.

However, she added that the name Reign had always stuck out to her. She said, “I was like, I know in my soul his name is Reign and Scott didn’t believe me. And I was like, no, I know his name is Reign. And he’s like his name is Preston. So I was like, fine, let’s call him Preston for a day. And it didn’t work out.”

Kylie Jenner recently changed her son’s name

Kardashian’s youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, recently made headlines after she introduced her son to the public with one name only to change her mind about it.

On Feb. 2, Jenner gave birth to her and Travis Scott’s second child—a son they originally called Wolf. However, in late March, Jenner took to Instagram to share that Wolf is no longer his name.

“FYI our sons name isn’t Wolf anymore,” Jenner announced. “We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”

Neither Jenner nor Scott has publicly revealed what the new name is. However, according to Jenner’s father, Caitlyn Jenner, the couple has decided on a new name already.

“I cannot tell,” Caitlyn told ET. “[Kylie] has not officially announced it. We have discussed this a lot.”

Caitlyn also explained a possible reason behind the name change: “When you have a little child, you know the little baby comes out and you think of what it should be, but then you get them in your arms and you play with them and spend time with them and say, ‘I don’t know if that name fits, maybe it’s another name.’ That’s Kylie’s decision. When she officially announces it, but honestly, I think this is very good.”
