Kourtney Kardashian Says Scott Disick ‘and Everyone Else’ Disliked Ex-Boyfriend Younes Bendjima
The Kardashian-Jenners allegedly weren’t big fans of Kourtney Kardashian‘s ex, Younes Bendjima. The two dated from 2016 to 2018, but the relationship apparently wasn’t always smooth sailing. What happened between Kourtney and Younes, and why is he on the Kar-Jenners’ bad side?
Why did Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendjima split?
Rumors of Kourtney and Younes’s romance began in December 2016 when the two were spotted together, according to Cosmopolitan. Fans thought the couple may have broken up in March 2018 when they unfollowed each other, but they appeared together at Tristan Thompson’s birthday party later that month.
Things seemed to be going well for Kourtney and Younes for a few months, but then came some public Instagram drama, as Cosmopolitan noted. During a trip to Italy with Younes in July 2018, Kourtney shared a photo of her backside on social media. Younes expressed his distaste for the revealing photo, asking in a since-deleted comment if that’s really how Kourtney needed to “get likes.”
The couple reportedly didn’t get along after their Italy trip. Just one month later, the paparazzi spotted Younes in Mexico with another woman. Younes denied the infidelity rumors, but the Kardashian-Jenner clan was not having it. Kourtney’s sisters defended her on social media, and reports surfaced that Kourtney and Younes split.
Things were quiet between the two until 2019 when tabloids reported that the two reunited. However, sources revealed that the two remained on good terms and were just friends. Reports later circulated that Kourtney did reunite with Younes to give him a second chance, but it wasn’t long before the two called it quits for good.
Kardashian and Scott Disick may have thrown shade at Bendjima
During part two of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians Reunion, Kourtney’s ex and co-parent, Scott Disick, revealed how he feels about her dating other people. As Cosmopolitan reported, he revealed that he gives Kourtney and her current boyfriend, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, his “blessing to be happy.”
When asked if he gets upset seeing Kourtney with other men, Scott replied, “Me? No. I just want to kill them. Well, the last guy. Let’s all be honest here.”
Scott didn’t name any names, but Kourtney’s most recent boyfriend prior to Travis was Younes.
Kourtney agreed with Scott’s statement, noting that “Scott and everyone else didn’t like him.”
Khloé Kardashian previously said Bendjima was ‘toxic’ to her sister
Khloé Kardashian said during the reunion that “nobody was happy” with Younes dating her sister. As fans may recall, that wasn’t the first time Khloé vocalized her opinion about Kourtney’s ex. In a March 2021 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloé discussed Younes with Kourtney, asking if Kourtney kept in touch with “what’s-his-name.”
Kourtney confirmed that she didn’t speak much to her ex and admitted that he was sometimes “negative” toward her. Khloé agreed, and later took to Twitter to say that Younes was “toxic.”
