How long have Kourtney and Travis been dating?
Kardashian and Barker met several years ago through mutual friends and Barker’s connection with Kim Kardashian West. Plus, the two reality stars live in the same community in Calabasas, California. Sources shared news of Kardashian and Barker’s relationship in January 2021, and Kardashian confirmed the rumors a few weeks later with photos on Instagram.
The relationship is still a few months old, but it’s clear from Instagram posts and PDA that Kardashian and Barker are very into each other. In early May, she even shared footage of herself giving Barker a tattoo that reads “I love you” in her handwriting. Naturally, fans have assumed that the two would eventually take the relationship to an engagement.

As Cosmopolitan reported, Kardashian’s recent Instagram share led fans to believe that she and Barker did actually move to the next step. Over Memorial Day Weekend, she shared a series of images and videos from her celebration with Barker and Kardashian’s children. The set included some adorable footage of Kardashian and Barker rolling down a hill with the kids and heading down an inflatable waterslide. However, as precious as the footage was, that’s not what caught fans’ attention.
According to Cosmopolitan, Kim Kardashian West’s former assistant, Stephanie Shepherd, left a mysterious comment on Kardashian’s post. “I love to see you so happy,” the family friend said with a bride emoji at the end. It’s unclear if the emoji really had any meaning. However, many fans quickly took to the replies to share their excitement over a potential Kravis wedding once more. Perhaps Shepherd wanted to show that she’s pulling for a Kravis marriage, too.
Marriage may not be in the cards for Kourtney and Travis
Unfortunately, Kardashian and Barker’s wedding day may not come any time soon. As Showbiz CheatSheet previously reported, a source close to the couple told Hollywood Life that Kardashian worries about her ex and co-parent Scott Disick’s reaction to an engagement. According to the source, Barker does want to marry Kardashian. However, “That’s not something she’s considering right now.”
The source explained that Disick may feel hurt by her decision to marry Barker. As Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans may recall, back in April, Disick revealed on the show that he still has feelings for Kardashian. He admitted to having trouble seeing her in other relationships.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker may only be dating right now, and that may be as far as it gets. However, if the two are happy with this, that’s all that matters.
