One breakfast Kourtney Kardashian counts on for being easy, quick, and delicious is a smoothie. Kardashian’s version is dairy-free and loaded with good-for-you ingredients. Continue reading to get the recipe.

Kardashian, 40, has been spilling her health and wellness secrets on Poosh, her website billed as a “modern guide to living your best life.” Launched in 2019 and given the nickname of her daughter, Penelope Disick, Kardashian’s lifestyle platform joins the ranks of other celebrity health and wellness outfits like Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop.

Shortly after Poosh debuted in the spring of 2019, “one of Kourt’s favorite breakfast options,” an avocado smoothie, hit the site.

Kourtney Kardashian’s avocado smoothie recipe

While a typical smoothie might include fruits such as strawberries or blueberries, Kardashian’s recipe relies on another fruit, avocados, which provide a hefty dose of healthy fat and gives the smoothie a green color.

According to Poosh, “it’s best to eat the fruit [avocodo] in the morning so your body can burn the calories throughout the day.” We’re guessing that’s why Kardashian makes the smoothie for breakfast. Plus, it’s easy and full of “nearly 20 vitamins and minerals.”

Requiring only three ingredients — avocado, coconut milk, and honey (preferably Manuka honey) or dates — the smoothie means a quick clean up in the kitchen. And according to the site, the dates — an update Kardashian made to her smoothie — give the final product “a bit of sweetness” and fiber.

Here’s the full recipe that makes one serving:

1 organic avocado pitted and peeled

1 cup organic coconut milk

2 tsp. Manuka honey or dates

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.

The cook time is listed as five minutes but we imagine this could take even less to prepare.

Kardashian isn’t the only celebrity who has started their day with a smoothie. Actress Jennifer Garner began her mornings with a smoothie when she prepped for filming Peppermint (2018). While Garner’s recipe from celebrity health coach, Kelly LeVeque,  included a few more ingredients, it definitely falls within the green smoothie category. We can say from firsthand experience Garner’s smoothie tastes better than it looks.

Kardashian also loves avocado pudding

This isn’t the first time Kardashian’s shared her love for avocados. In May 2015, the mother of three shared a picture of “avocado pudding” on Instagram. While her photos have become fancier in recent years on social media, her recipe remains unchanged. In April 2016, Kardashian shared her avocado pudding recipe with Today as well as subscribers to her now-defunct app.

The recipe’s the same as her avocado smoothie recipe so it may have gotten a name change when Poosh launched. Regardless, people have been trying Kardashian’s avocado pudding and avocado recipes ever since she shared it. We can’t blame them. We don’t know anyone who wouldn’t have to be as healthy and fit as Kardashian at 40.
