It’s 2020 and the world is currently in the midst of a pandemic, courtesy of Coronavirus (COVID-19). But, somehow, the world is also still talking about Kris Jenner and her kids. This past weekend, the phone call between Jenner’s son-in-law, Kanye West, and Taylor Swift leaked to the public. This was the unedited version of the clip that Kim Kardashian West posted back in 2016.
Of course, we’re all familiar with the fallout that the video caused for Swift four years ago. For months, Swift was slammed with snake emojis and called a liar. Fans of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and even other celebrities, jumped on the bandwagon to declare that “Taylor Swift was over.” This display of cancel culture caused Swift to isolate from the public for an entire year’s time.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has been deleting negative comments on Instagram and even liked a Twitter post that said that the unedited phone call doesn’t change anything.
But while some fans are still marveling over the fact that Swift was telling the truth the whole time, others are asking the more important questions. Namely, why did the phone call leak now, four years after the feud began, and who could have leaked it? Some fans of Keeping Up with the Kardashians argue that it had to be someone close to West, as he is the one who recorded it. Others speculate that that person could possibly be Kris Jenner.

Furthermore, with the Coronavirus dominating the media circuit, rather than the KarJenners, Jenner may have leaked the phone call in order to get people talking about her family once more.

Who knows if Jenner really did leak the call between West and Swift. But, if she did, her mission was, once more, accomplished.
