Losing their father was something none of the siblings expected to happen and each one had a pretty tough time coming to terms with his death.

Though the reality stars have found their own ways of coping with their dad’s passing, Rob Kardashian hasn’t been able to fully accept this heartbreaking outcome and still mourns his father’s death today.

Kris Jenner says Kardashian still isn’t over his father’s death

Kardashian Sr.’s death definitely had a lasting effect on each one of his children, but according Kris Jenner, his passing has and still takes a toll on their son.

During a recent panel with Dr. Sheila Nazarian for the Nazarian Institute’s ThinkBIG 2020 Conference on January 11, the momager opened up about how her Rob Kardashian, in particular, has been handling his father’s death.

“I don’t think he’s still gotten over it,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said.

Jenner went on to explain that since Kardashian lost his father at a very tender age, she understands why he’s had a tough time with Kardashian Sr.’s passing; seeing as though she lost her own father at “16 and a half, 17.”

“You don’t just get over something like that,” she explained. “You think you move on and heal and obviously life goes on, but it still is something that is really difficult to do.”

The patriarch of the Kardashian family rose to fame in the mid-90s as a member of O.J. Simpson’s “dream team” of lawyers who defended him during his highly publicized murder trial.

Eight years after the trial, Kardashian was diagnosed with with esophageal cancer. Just two months after receiving his diagnosis, the elite lawyer passed away on September 30, 2003, at the age of 59.

All of the Kardashian had a tough time following their father’s death

Though the Arthur George Socks creator still has trouble coming to terms with his father’s death, he isn’t the only one who’s struggled with not having Kardashian Sr. around.

Back in January 2017, Khloé Kardashian opened up about how her health took a significant toll following the death of her dad.

“When it set in I was like … you spiral,” she shared during an episode of Revenge Body. “And for me, my spiral was food. And I gained so much weight because I was so internally … just suppressing so many things, that it was like eating me alive.”

The following year, Kim Kardashian West revealed that she stopped doing her dad’s favorite activity since it hurt too much to be reminded of him.

“After my dad died, I didn’t ski for over a decade,” she revealed. “We usually skied together on Thanksgiving, which was his holiday to take us.”

Though their dad’s death is still painful to think about, the Kardashians make sure to keep his memory alive.

From sharing heartfelt birthday tributes to keeping their family traditions going, these famous siblings consistently honor their dad in many different ways.

Although they wish he was still here with them, the memory of Kardashian Sr. will always live on in this family.
