Why did Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler divorce?

In April 2020, Cavallari announced her divorce from Cutler on Instagram

“With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” she wrote. “We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”

Both Cavallari and Cutler seem to have taken steps to find new relationships.

For example, Cavallari have been spotted with Southern Charm star Austen Kroll and comedian Jeff Dye. According to Us Weekly, Cavallari and Dye have been hanging out a lot, but a source revealed back in March they “are not officially a couple.”

“They’re casual dating,” the insider said. “She’s just having fun with him. They’re not together and she’s not rushing to be in a serious relationship.”

Meanwhile, Cutler was linked to political commentator Tomi Lahren back in September 2020. Whether Cutler was really seeing Lahren or not, it’s clear the relationship did not go anywhere. According to The Spun, Cutler took to social media to shut down the dating reports. He posted a video of himself brushing a cow and wrote, “Only lady in my life. Be better internet.”

In early 2021, a source reportedly told Entertainment Tonight that Cutler was on the dating app Raya, which is popular with people in the entertainment industry. The insider also shared Cutler wrote in his profile, “Here just for friends.”
