This past March, the 20th season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians officially began airing.

However, as fans and viewers of the Bravo series already know, this will be the last and final season Kardashian-Jenner fans will be able to enjoy. A lot has happened since the reality television series premiered in 2007. Over the years audience members have gotten to know and love the cast, and on that note, they often have some things they would like to say.

Take a look back at some of the most memorable controversies to take place on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and why fans think they have figured out the reasoning behind the cast’s obsession with their bodies.

Each and every one one of the cast members of Keeping Up with the Kardashians can relate to what it feels like to be called out on social media or in the headlines. In 2017 Kendall Jenner received a lot of heat for role in the infamous and poorly planned Pepsi advertisement. The “cringey” commercial still haunts Kendall Jenner to this day.

On the other hand, Kim Kardashian has often been accused of culturally appropriating. This was the case in 2019 when she received criticism over Kimono, the name of her shapewear company at the time. Kim Kardashian has since issued an apology and renamed the brand, but, unfortunately, it hasn’t been the only instance the public has called her out for being offensive.

One of Kylie Jenner’s recent posts sparked a lot of controversy, conversation, and cruel comments

Kylie Jenner, and all of her family members, are well-known for their popular and busy social media accounts. Kylie Jenner’s posts typically include her adorable daughter, stunning nails, amazing looks, and, of course, her BFF, Stassie Karanikolaou. However, one of her very recent posts led to a lot of hating, and many fans think unnecessarily so.

In the Instagram video Kylie Jenner was showing off some of her fitness moves, and it didn’t take long for her followers to discuss the matter on Reddit. The thread got kicked off stating the obvious: that Kylie Jenner was getting torn to pieces.

One user claimed she jogged like a republican, and other people flat out accused her of lying. Many people are hesitant to believe that Kylie Jenner’s good looks and fit body aren’t a result of cosmetic procedures. However, nonetheless, some fans made many good points and even offered up an extremely possible theory.

The Reddit thread revolving Kylie Jenner’s recent workout video on Instagram shared a lot of different opinions, perspectives, and theories, but there was one in particular to stand out.

After seeing the tremendous amount of comments harshly criticizing Kylie Jenner for everything from the way she runs to her caption on the video, one user in the discussion shared a refreshing perspective. In the thread the comment read, “This is why I’m not shocked the girls (especially Kylie and khloe) use a lot of photoshop and filters and get surgeries. Imagine a constant stream of strangers just tearing you down every day since you were super young.” Unfortunately, it seems to make a little bit too much sense.

Many viewers agreed with the dark theory, and as one user simply wrote, “Nasty comments = surgery = nasty comments = surgery”. However, historically speaking, the fans aren’t completely wrong. This Us article recapped the time Kylie Jenner admitted that a former boyfriend who commented on her small lips and kissing abilities was ultimately what led her to pursue lip injections. Too often, people forget the power of their words.
